Friendship Divine Service

On Sunday, 6 September 2026, Priest Allister Messina conducted the Friendship divine service in Suider-Paarl Congregation.

Message:
We receive salvation in Christ visibly by receiving the sacraments.

The bible text used was based on 1 John 5 v 8:

"And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one."

Priest Dawid Toppies was called upon to serve.

The choir beautifully concluded the divine service with HC 194 – “He Comes, the Hero Strong,” bringing a blessed morning of worship, friendship and fellowship to a fitting close.

Dear readers,

On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the ministers of Suider-Paarl Congregation conducted the Sunday School lessons.

It was a joyful and special morning as both the ministers and children shared in the lessons with great enthusiasm. The beautiful bond between the ministers and the children was evident, creating a warm atmosphere as they learned, shared and grew together in faith.

We sincerely thank all our ministers for their dedication and love in guiding our Sunday School children, and we thank the children for their willingness to learn.

May these special moments continue to strengthen their faith and help them grow closer to God.

On Saturday, 1 August 2026, the Young People of Suider-Paarl Congregation had a G2G on Paarl Mountain as part of the Dare2Care activities of the weekend.

This concluded a beautiful week of faith, fun and making a difference.
