Pentecost Preparation and Sing-A-Long.

On Thursday, 21 May 2026, the congregation of Suider-Paarl gathered for a sing-a-long in preparation for Pentecost, embracing the spirit of fellowship despite the cold and rainy afternoon.

Priest Allister Messina opened the evening with prayer and shared encouraging thoughts with the congregation on the importance of Pentecost and the spiritual preparation leading up to this special occasion.

The programme began beautifully with selections presented by the recorders. Thereafter, the congregation united in song, singing beloved New Apostolic favourites from the English Hymnal, including 106 – Take my life and let it be and 406 – Come ye that love the Lord.

Following the sing-a-long, members enjoyed a warm cup of soup and continued fellowship together while sharing meaningful thoughts and reflections on Pentecost. It was truly a blessed evening filled with love, warmth, and anticipation.

On Sunday, 17 May 2026, the Sunday School children enjoyed a special Pentecost presentation presented by
Dc. Juanita Kearns.

The children learned about the meaning of Pentecost and discovered how the gifts of the Holy Spirit can be applied in their everyday lives. Through interactive participation, the lesson came alive in a fun and meaningful way.

The children listened attentively and answered questions enthusiastically, making it a joyful and memorable learning experience.
