Our Youth & Confirmation group came together and hosted a Movie Night on Monday, 15 June

The movie screened was Sarafina - which was selected to provide better understanding about why we celebrate Youth Day.

Afterwards, we discussed topics such "Teens being seen", "Fear amongst Friends" and "Youth Identity" to bring context to the movie and the Celebration of Youth on the 16th June

With warm popcorn and a truly captivating movie - great fun was had by all.

We would like to congratulate the Leyds Family, and especially Tristan Leyds with the amazing achievement on the international rugby Sevens-stage being named the Rugby Sevens Player of the Year 2026

Former Boys Brigade members attended a special service at Macassar on Sunday, 17 May 2026, where the legacy, contributions and impact of those who were BB members over the years were honoured. Our Brass Band was also in attendance. Four former Strand Company BB members - Ian Baard, Lawrence Felton, Leon Reeding and Brahnwill Fuller received tokens of appreciation. We salute them.
