When God called us into ministry and gave us the vision to Restore, Equip, and Release, I did not fully understand what that assignment would require. I did not realize it would mean walking with broken people, seeing them restored, healed, strengthened—and then watching some move on. At times, it became discouraging. I questioned why people would be restored only to leave after healing.
But the Lord spoke deeply to my heart and said, “Son, to some you will be like the Good Samaritan finding those wounded, broken, and left by the roadside. You will help restore them, pour in healing, strengthen them, and release them into the God-ordained purpose I have for their lives. Their leaving is not loss; it is fulfillment of assignment.”
Then He said, “To others, you will be like David in the cave of Adullam surrounded by the distressed, indebted, and discouraged. Yet those same people will be transformed and raised up into mighty men who will walk with the vision and purpose I have entrusted to you.”
From that moment, my perspective changed. The Lord taught me not to be heartbroken over those who came for restoration and moved on, because some were sent for healing, while others were sent for building. There will always be those who come, remain, and become mighty men and women within the vision God has called us to.
That revelation ignited a fresh fire in my spirit. Now I move forward with renewed passion, knowing I am fulfilling God’s purpose—restoring, equipping, and releasing according to His divine plan. Lord, I love You, and I thank You for trusting me with Your work.
