Almighty Father, as I prepare to receive the ashes tomorrow, I come before you with a humble heart. Remind me that I am dust, and to dust I shall return, but in your mercy, I am also loved, chosen, and redeemed.
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Wash me from my sins. Heal what is broken within me. Teach me true repentance, not just in words, but in the way I live.

As I begin this Lenten journey, help me to walk with Jesus in prayer, in sãcrifice, and in love. Let this season change me from the inside out.
Detach my heart from sị́n and draw me closer to your grace.

Lord, I offer you my weaknesses, my struggles, and my hidden bãttles.
Turn my ashes into beauty.
Turn my sọ̀rrow into healing.
Turn my repentance into renewal.

May this Lent lead me to a deeper conversion, a stronger faith, and a more sincere love for you and for others.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
