Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Bergvliet Holy Redeemer has been served by the priests & brothers of the Redemptorist Community since 1925. Our beautiful church is open daily from 6am to 6pm.

Welcome to the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Bergvliet, Cape Town. Holy Redeemer Church, Bergvliet, is home to a thriving worshipping community of all ages. At the heart of the parish community is a community of Redemptorist Missionaries who live in the adjoining Monastery. The parish is part of the Roman Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Cape Town. The Redemptorist community is part of a wor

ldwide Apostolic Congregation (Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer) at the service of the most abandoned. All are welcome to visit the church for a time of prayer, reflection or just to draw breath during a busy schedule. You will find all the details of church services on our website. We extend a particular welcome to those who are searching for a deeper relationship with God, to those who are troubled in any way and to those who have lost contact with the daily life of the Church. The parish office is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 2.30pm.

The Co-workers of Mother Teresa recently joined the Sisters of Mother Teresa for Mass on the Feast Day of St Mother Teresa at St Raphael's in Khayelitsha. Mass was celebrated by his grace, Archbishop Sipuka. This was the Archbishop's first visit to the Sisters of Mother Teresa.
