Join us for our heritage FUNday on the 20th of September.
For the day:
- We are looking for people to bring some cultural dishes. Anything is welcome!
- We will light the braai, so you can bring your own meat and throw it on the braai if you’d like to do that.
- Bring and share style picnic for the day.
- Please bring your own drinks
- The Jumping caste will be out for the kids

The year is 2026, the preacher calls out a passage refence in his sermon, not a sound comes out of the congregation. Some heads may move, but few do. Those that do, move towards a technological device that has the power to pull us within seconds from God's Word towards a social media algorithm. We miss the sound of pages turning, and bustling as the congregation shifts and moves in their seats as they seek out the verse being referenced. Children no longer see their parents walking in to church with their bible tucked under their arm. We say we value this thing called God's Word but it has become a coaster for our coffee mugs or it has become a dusty feature on our bookshelves. We want to bring back the sounds of pages turning, the sight of heads moving through scripture and families walking in with their bibles under their arms. Just like "bring your kids to work day" is a thing, we are making "bring your bible to church Sunday" a thing. Less tech, less distraction, and more of His Word. See you Sunday...with your bible!
