What is the Founder’s Cup? 🏆

Launched in 2016 to honour the life and legacy of Archbishop Paulos Mfunwa Nzuza (Mqalisi), the Founder’s Cup is a celebration of unity, fellowship, and excellence within the CHG family.

Combining music and sport, it brings together branches from across the country to showcase their talents, strengthen relationships, and compete for the prestigious Founder’s Cup title while upholding the values and vision of our Founder. ⚽🎶✨

Tribute to Deacon John Kubayi 💙 🤍 💙

We honour the memory and legacy of Deacon John Kubayi, a humble, loving and tireless servant of God who devoted his life to the service of the Church from his youth.

His unwavering commitment to God and the Church was evident throughout his years of faithful ministry. Serving diligently across Gauteng and Limpopo, he touched countless lives through his leadership, teaching and dedication to the work of God.

Deacon Kubayi was a prayer warrior who believed deeply in the power of prayer. He prayed for many people throughout his ministry and witnessed God's healing hand and miraculous works in the lives of those he served.

During a challenge period in the Church, Deacon Kubayi stood firmly for the truth,  with boldness, conviction, and unstoppable faith. He remained devoted to the Cross and faithful to the covenant and leadership of the Church. Through his enduring loyalty, integrity and spiritual strength, he became a source of support and inspiration to countless families.

Deacon Kubayi loved God deeply and served His people wholeheartedly. His humility, kindness, and selfless service left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though he has departed from this earthly life, his legacy of prayer, faith, service and dedication to God's Word will continue to live on in the hearts of many.

May his soul rest in eternal peace 🕊️🙏🏽 .
