Good morning Beloved in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Let me draw your attention to the book of Deuteronomy 3 v 21 to 22.

A journey from the land of slavery (Egypt) to the a promised land (Canaan). Israel fought many battles on its way. They were faced with opposition and felt discouraged. At some point in they journey, they felt defeated by the appearance of their enemies.

Moses said to Joshua, you have seen everything the Lord your God has done to these two kings. He, the Lord will do the same to all the kingdoms on the west side of jordan.

Moses tells Joshua not to be afraid of the nations there, for the Lord your God will fight for you.

We are all faced with different challenges and fear turn to take hold of our hearts. We do come across mountains and valleys and not knowing what to do.

Did God deliver you in the past?

Did God show you mercy in the past?

Did you experience God's healing power in the past?

Did you witness demonstration of his strength,

Did he remove an obstacle before you?

Did he save your from danger?

Did he make that business deal possible?

Did he come through for your in an amazing way?

Moses says to Joshua, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly and above.

Habakuk said to the Lord "Lord revive your work and do it again".

Moses encourages Joshua not to be fearful but to keep walking towards the promise land.

As we rise to a brand new day. Let's walk towards that which God has promised us. God's promises are YES and Amen. We will surely encounter opposition but that doesn't mean we must stop pursuing the call.

He did it before.....

He is doing it today...

He will surely do it again....

Be strong....

Be courageous....

Be of a good cheer....

Be confident....

Be fearless....

Stay focused....

Walk into your victory today and declare God's promises about you and your destiny.

A Psalm of exuberant declaration of faith.

Psalm 27 v 1 to 3

The Psalmist is confident in the Lord his God. He is personal in his relationship with the Sovereign Lord.

He declares that in moments of darkness, the Lord comes as a light. He cares for the needs of His people.

Many of us live in fear due to what is happening in the world today and around our lives. The Psalmist is bold and declares fear is not his portion.

When we feel weak and are in despair and fatigued. The Lord is ultimate source of emotional, psychological, mental,relational, spiritual and physical strength. Many of us feel like life is burden and we desire to stop running. God is our strength.

The Psalmist acknowledges that we all have enemies in one way or the other. He knows that, the enemy will always attack but the Lord will cause them to stumble and fall.

As we begin the year. Make the Lord your source of strength, don't let your to be troubled by trust in the Lord God Almighty. Im your darkest moments, make the Lord your light. When the enemy attacks, make the Lord your shield.
