Strong leadership in the Church is about much more than managing institutions, it is about nurturing faith, building trust, and ensuring every resource directly advances God's work.

Today was a momentous day for the Diocese of Pretoria as Bishop Kgabe officially commissioned new officers into vital legal, registry, and financial roles. In her address, she reminded us all that church governance exists to serve people: to protect the vulnerable, empower our youth, support our clergy, and allow parish life to flourish.

​The heart of her message was a clear call to action for everyone entrusted with responsibility:
​“Help us ensure that our resources serve God’s mission rather than merely maintain the institution.”

​As these new officers begin their service alongside existing leadership, we pray that their work brings wisdom, transparency, and renewed strength to our entire diocesan community. 🙏

Reflecting on today's scripture (John 2:1-11) Bishop encouraged the officials to serve fully and dedicate themselves to the "brim" and to do whatever that He(God) tells them to do.
