Happy Mother’s Day
We celebrate this day with so much love and joy💖 we thank God for protecting and keeping the mothers of all nations and languages all over the world.
Just to explain abit about the role of our mothers, we see in the Word of God, that God lifted up a certain woman called Deborah who arose not only as a prophetess, but as a mother in Israel, she carried wisdom, courage, discernment, and righteousness before the Lord, she was a prophetess who heard from God clearly.
She judged Israel with wisdom and righteousness.
She brought justice to the people during a troubled time.
She encouraged faith instead of fear, she called Barak to rise up and fight for Israel helping lead Israel into victory against their enemies.
She inspired courage in the nation, she united the tribes of Israel for battle.
She showed that God can use Mothers powerfully.
She became known as “a mother in Israel.”
Her leadership brought peace to the land for 40 years.
She obeyed God boldly even in dangerous times.
She sang a victory song that honored God after the battle.
She raised a generation to trust in God again.
She proved that righteous leadership can change a nation for the better.
As we can see God used Deborah "a Mother of the nation of Israel" so mightily to fix all the problems in Israel, therefore we ask all mothers to enter into a time of reflection about their purpose and role in this life that it is far greater than what the world often sees, that a mother needs to be righteous before God because they carry the power to shape a home, influence generations, and strengthen a nation when mothers walk closely with God, they raise children in truth, establish peace within families, and become pillars of wisdom and prayer in difficult times and good times.
A mother who loves who sacrifices who is faithfulness before God are like the Deborah, godly mothers who carry keys of greatness in their hands and pass into their children — through their prayers, guidance, correction, encouragement, and unwavering faith. Many victories are born because a mother chose righteousness before God and the love of God - Mothers who are givers unto God, who give their last because they honor God, no matter what the world says they keep giving honoring and sacrificing before the Lord.
Now let our children also learn to honor, cherish, and love our “Deborahs,” our Mothers in Christ for their impact reaches further than words can explain. Behind many strong families, healed hearts, and victorious generations stands a praying mother who trusted the Living God, Jesus Christ our Saviour.
May God strengthen every mother, bless every sacrifice made in love, and raise more women of wisdom, courage, holiness, and faith in this generation.
