Success may change your circumstances, but it should never change your character. The people I admire most are not necessarily the ones with the biggest titles, the most money or the greatest achievements.

They are the humble ones. The kind ones. The people who can sit at any table without needing to prove how important they are.

The “why” in our walk with God matters. Trust me, it matters. Why do I seek Him? Why do I pray? Why do I get up and go to church? Why do I keep running this race?

The “why” in our walk with God matters. Trust me, it matters. Why do I seek Him? Why do I pray? Why do I get up and go to church? Why do I keep running this race?

The answer is simple: Because I need Him. I need Him because I cannot do life without Him. I need Him because when the storms come and trust me, they will, I need something greater than myself to stand on.

Faith isn't just about what we do. It's about Who we are doing it for.

We can become so caught up in church, routines, friendships, serving and the social side of Christianity that we forget the very heart of it all: Jesus.

So, my dear beloved in Christ, remember your WHY. If you've lost your focus, find it again. If you've become comfortable, wake up again. If you've drifted, draw near again.

Because when you remember why you started, you'll remember Who called you to finish. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep running your race. And never lose sight of the reason you need Him in the first place.

I have learned that one of the greatest threats to our walk with Christ is losing our focus and it can happen to the best of us.

Every one of us has a different measure of faith, a different calling, and a different race to run. But somewhere along the way, we can become too comfortable within our social circles, too comfortable with the routine of Christianity.

We become busy doing church. We attend. We serve. We fellowship. We speak the language. We know the people. Yet, somewhere in the midst of it all, we can slowly lose sight of why we are doing it.

And then one day, you wake up with a strange feeling that something is wrong. Guard your focus. Guard your heart. Keep Jesus at the centre. Don't lose Christ while doing Christianity.

Life is filled with trials and tribulations. Jesus never promised us a life without storms, He promised us that we would never face them alone.

Sometimes, the very thing we fear will break us is the very thing God uses to build us. The storm that was meant to shake our lives may become the storm that redirects us.

Don't lose faith in the middle of the storm. Don't judge God's plan by the pain of the moment. For we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
