Some exciting news! 🌏 - A message from Rochelle x
"At the end of June this year, I have the privilege of travelling to Southeast Asia to serve children whose families live and work in often spiritually isolated environments. Many of these children don’t have regular access to church, Christian community, or friendships with other believers in the way many of us do.
My role will be to help support and encourage these children through activities, relationship-building, and simply spending time with them. As someone who has spent the last few years serving in children’s ministry, this opportunity feels like a natural extension of a passion God has been growing in my heart for discipleship and investing in young lives.
I am trusting that this experience will not only encourage the children and families I meet, but also shape and stretch me as I learn more about serving across cultures and supporting ministry in different contexts.
I’ve attached a poster with a little more information. If you would like to support me through prayer, share this post, or partner with me financially, I would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, big or small, helps make this opportunity possible.
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” – Proverbs 16:3
Thank you for following along on this journey. I’ll be sharing updates as preparations continue and throughout the trip itself. "🤍

🌿 Look at the Fig Tree: Staying Grounded in a Distracted World 🌿 Fix your eyes on Jesus!

Reflecting on today, Pastor Josh shared a powerful message on Luke 21:29-36, where Jesus points to a fig tree and says that when its leaves sprout, you know summer is near. In the same way, when we see the world shifting, we shouldn’t panic—it’s a reminder that God’s kingdom is close.
But Jesus leaves us with a loving warning in verse 34:
"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap."
Everyday stress, endless scrolling, and modern distractions weigh heavily on our souls—and numb us. They make us sleepwalk through our faith.
1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
Be always on the watch, and pray.
Thanks to our worship team, who led us in meaningful song and praise as we ended the service with our Vision song of the year: “Watch and Pray.”

Church family, let’s take a minute to look back on Sunday’s powerful service delivered by Pastor Josh. In Luke 21:10-28, Christ lays out the heavy realities of a broken world—wars, natural disasters, and global shaking. But His ultimate instruction isn't to hide or fear.
He says, "Straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." Luke 21:28
When everything around you feels like it's falling apart, remember that God’s plan is coming together. The chaos of this world is just a backdrop for His glorious return. Don't lose heart. Hold your head high, trust His promises, and stand firm in faith today. 🙏✨

Mid-Week Reminder!
Matthew 6:19 - 21 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Luke 21:5-19
Throwing back to yesterday's powerful message "Temporary vs Eternal" delivered by Pastor Josh, we are reminded that everything on this earth is temporary :
Luke 21:6 "As for what you see here the time will come when not one stone will be left on another, every one of them will be thrown down."
