Ways a Wife Can Support Her Husband
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Ephesians 5:22-23
Husbands need the support of their wives. Of course, it works both ways, as the wife needs to feel the support of her husband, but for a man, support is huge. A God-fearing husband knows the Lord has placed him in a position of leadership. It is overwhelming sometimes because he can feel squeezed by the pressures of life. The last thing a husband needs to feel is distance or distrust from his wife. Wives, your encouragement may be the only thing that is preventing him from giving up, so do not underestimate the strength of your support. Your affirmation is valuable and powerful for the ongoing success of your husband. Men are not as self-sufficient as they may seem.

Christ's Second Coming

They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Revelation 20:4-5
The first time Jesus came to save the people from their sin he was in a modest manager. He was not the King, but He threatened the King. Jesus is coming a second time with a grand entrance as King of kings to judge the people for their sin and dead works. The first time He rode on a humble donkey, but He will ride this second time on a brazen horse. This is the first resurrection.

Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my mind and my heart.Psalm 26:2
Recommended Reading Psalm 139
Metallurgy was in its pre-industrial stages in biblical times. The process involved the application of intense heat to ores, which caused the desired metal—gold, silver, copper, tin—to separate and liquefy. Refinement by heat was used as an image of spiritual purification in the Old Testament (Zechariah 13:9; Malachi 3:2). The image of testing by fire is also applied to Christians—the Judgment Seat of Christ will determine whether the believer’s works have had value or not.
The notion that impurities in life may impede spiritual progress and revival is well-documented in Scripture. Perhaps the best example is David’s desire for cleansing in his life: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalm 139:23-24). Personal revival begins with the search for, and purging of, impurities—things offensive to God that will block the Spirit’s work. Such purging begins with known impurities and can continue with David’s prayer, asking God to reveal things of which we are unaware.
To move toward revival in your life, ask God to show you the condition of your heart.

Pure gold shows its purity chiefly in the furnace.

Leaders without loyal followers are not effective over the long term. You can beg, bribe, and berate followers into results for a season, but eventually, this type of leadership will drive loyal followers away and leave only the weak ones. The leader may start something, but it is the loyal follower who sustains the new initiative. He or she is comfortable not getting credit, though the wise leader gives it gladly and gratefully. It is no secret that the loyal follower is the engine that keeps the enterprise running smoothly.
Therefore, reward loyalty with loyalty and appreciation or the loyal follower who is taken for granted will remain loyal no more. Paul modeled help for loyal servants of the Lord. “Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel…” (Philippians 4:3a). A wise leader learns to love loyal followers lavishly and unconditionally. Regularly reward those who embody the values of the organization. Thank them with bonuses and unexpected time off.

For followers, loyalty is not an end in itself, but a means to something greater than themselves. They feel called to carry out the God-given mission of the ministry or business. Their loyalty is the fruit of their calling and the result of their respect.

Godly Advice.2.
Paul modeled this way of life: “Therefore I urge you to imitate me. For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church” (1 Corinthians 4:16–17). Look for godly advice from godly people.

Avoid the temptation to dismiss those who are gifted in discerning your needs just because you know what they will say. Truth needs repeating, and when you expose your mind and heart to repetitive godly advice, God begins to pe*****te pockets of pride. Humility asks the godly for prayer and wise counsel; so stay humble, and seek wisdom.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for placing in my life, wise advisors who love You and who love me, give me the humility to listen and follow their advice, in Jesus name, amen.

Godly Advice

Then King Rehoboam consulted the elders who had served his father Solomon during his lifetime. ‘How would you advise me to answer these people?’ he asked. They replied, ‘If today you will be a servant to these people and serve them and give them a favorable answer, they will always be your servants. 1 Kings 12:6–7
Where can godly advice be found? The source, of course, is Christ, but beyond the creator of wisdom, who can be trusted to dispense counsel that represents God’s wisdom? There are godly men and women the Lord has blessed with His insight and discernment of what is right and wrong. Thus, pray for access to people with a wise heart for God.

Happy New year. Abiding in Christ is my message for you this 2018
What can we do without Christ? Nothing. What can we accomplish when we abide in Him? One man said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). What, then, does it mean to abide in Christ?
“A” stands for absolute surrender. We have to come to Him just as we are, confessing our sin and saying, “You are the potter and I am the clay.”
•“B” stands for believe. We have to trust Him completely to do with us, for us, and around us what is very best while we stand on His promises.
•“I” stands for insight. We have to pour ourselves into His Word each day, learning His ways and gaining His insights for living.
•“D” stands for dedication. We have to persevere over time, separating ourselves from sinful habits and from people or places that may hinder our purity.
•“E” stands for enthusiasm. We go about His work in the power and energy He provides.
Nothing takes the place of abiding in Christ, for everything depends on Him.
Let the Word create around you, create within you a holy atmosphere, a holy heavenly light, in which your soul will be refreshed and strengthened for the work of daily life.

Happy New Year to all our friends and followers on Wisdom For Victorious living

If you remain bound by your plan, you may miss the success of His. Man sets the plan, but the Lord extracts it from his heart—though it may not seem logical at the moment. Yes, it is somewhat embarrassing to change course for the umpteenth time, however it is better to make a midcourse correction and suffer a little shame, than to wait too long and be humiliated by our stubbornness. God’s best, often, is not a direct linear path. He is most creative in leading us on a trail of trust.
The plan of God requires ongoing prayer that asks Him to purify your motives and to clarify His plan to you. Ask Christ to confirm your coordinates to His destination. Whatever path you are blazing, He has been there before. It is typically harder to discern God’s best when you are encountering someone or something for the very first time. There are many unknowns and so many opportunities to pursue.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, show me the way and give me the courage to adjust as I go, in Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Remember past episodes of His power at work. In my case, I I remember the triumph, I recall the victory. David did too, He remembered the power of God to bring victory, and he was sure He would again: “The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." (1 Samuel 17:37)
Receive God’s invitation to seek him. Even in the dark jungle of fear, we look for Him. In the darkest nights, we seek Him. And in the silence of pain, His whisper reaches like a soft breeze of hope. Renewed, we can repeat the psalmist’s words: “I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4

Reviving The Soul
The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7
From time to time our soul needs a revival that only the Word of God can create. Our soul becomes soiled from working in the garden of everyday life, but the washing by the Word removes the impediments to our intimacy with Christ. “How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word” (Psalm 119:9). His commands cleanse.
Our soul can go into a slump like an athlete who is no longer able to execute. So consider a change in your religious routine. Begin journaling or praying the Psalms out loud. Indeed, it is during this c***k in our faith that the fire from God’s word can remove our apathetic attitudes. His word burns away bad attitudes.
“Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces” (Jeremiah 23:29).

To love God is to make room for God in all aspects of your life. You love Him when you love others, Love is action; therefore, love Him and allow Him to love you. . The Holy Spirit within you has the answers to the questions that consume your thinking. Follow His internal promptings, not the external clamor.
What you believed yesterday will be dwarfed by what you learn tomorrow.
Know God, love God, learn of Him and from Him. He affirms a teachable heart as one who fears the Lord.
The Bible teaches, “Assemble the people—men, women, and children, and the aliens living in your towns—so they can listen and learn to fear the LORD your God and follow carefully all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 31:12). Stay teachable in your understanding of God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, my prayer is to be a lifetime learner of You and Your ways, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
