Greetings Kingdom citizens,

When you feel down, you may find it difficult to give thanks. Take heart, in all things God works for our good if we love him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Thankfulness takes the sting out of adversity. Thank God not for your problems, but for the strength he is building in you through the difficult experiences of your life. We give God thanks (regardless of our feelings), and He gives us joy (regardless of our circumstances). You can be sure that God's perfect love will see you through. Nonetheless, those who obey God in this way are invariably blessed, even though difficulties may remain. Thankfulness opens our heart to His presence and our mind to His thoughts.

Greetings Kingdom citizens,

We are celebrating our 30th anniversary in Ministry. From 31 October -3 November 2024. We are grateful for the great faithfulness and grace of our Lord Jesus for bringing us this far and being dependable in every situation. It has not been easy but we are reminded that in the book of Jude 1:24-25 (KJV) "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen."

Thanking our ever present help in times of need who has brought us over many difficulties, of living and facing life's challenges during the prevailing circumstances of heeding the call to do ministry. Indeed, as Samuel declared then, we do so now: "Thus far the Lord has helped us.", Amen. (1 Samuel 7:12)

Greetings Kingdom citizens,

Christ's message is for everyone; so everywhere we go as believers we ought to bring the Good News to all who dare to listen. An effective presentation of the gospel includes admonishing (warning) and teaching. The warning is that without Christ, people are doomed to eternal separation from God. The teaching is that salvation is available through faith in Christ. As Christ works in you, tell others about Him, warning and teaching them in Godly love in order to save them from perishing in a life of sin which weighs us all down. Lasting abundant life can be found in Christ alone. Let God's life shine through you as you walk in the light with Him. Who do you know who needs to hear this message?

Greetings Kingdom citizens,

Believing that God exists is only the beginning; even the demons believe that much (James 2:19, 20). God will not settle for mere acknowledgement of His existence. He wants your faith to lead to a personal, dynamic relationship. But does faith make sense, really? Do you believe because faith makes sense, or because faith doesn't need to make sense? Some Christians think people cannot understand God and should not try. Others believe that nothing true is irrational, including true faith. The truth is, God gave us minds that should be developed and used. To ignore intellectual growth is to live a stunted and naive life. God wants our trust and faith, even while we ponder and wonder so many matters mysterious to us. Even so, we do not believe in a void nor leap into the dark.
Faith is reasonable, though reason alone cannot explain the whole of it. So, use your mind to think things through, but be led by the Spirit. However, leave room for the unexplainable works of God. (Isaiah 55:8)
It is much more real to see yourself through God's eyes. His gaze upon you is steady and sure, untainted by sin.

Greetings Kingdom citizens,

When we are tempted to put our trust in something other than the living God-money, career, family, or even military power-we should stop and ask some serious questions. Will it come through? Will it unfailingly provide what I am looking for? God delivers. When He makes a promise, He keeps it. He is the only completely trustworthy God. When you feel broken and bruised or burned out in your spiritual life, God won't step on you or toss you aside as useless but will gently pick you up. God's loving and chastising attributes are desperately needed in the world today. Through God's Spirit, we can show such sensitivity to people around us, reflecting God's goodness and honesty to them.

God is He who is the helper of us all, Christ is He whom we ought to fix our eyes upon. We may condemn our predecessors for their failures, but we are twice judged as guilty if we repeat the same mistakes that we recognize as failures. We may be so ready to direct God's message at others that we can't see how it touches our own lives. Before we demonstrate it to others and let His light shine in us before we can be lights ourselves. Always be more ready and willing to take your own advice as you teach or lead. When we bear God's wonderful name, we must never do anything that would bring shame to it.

Greeting Kingdom citizens,

All those who call upon God in their need will be answered, sometimes in unexpected ways. This is not a blanket promise that all Christians will have everything they want. We often find ourselves questioning even this very statement by David in this Psalm, because we seem to lack many good things. Instead, this is David's praise for God's goodness - God knows what we need, and our deepest desires are spiritual. Even though many Christians face unbearable hardships, they still have enough spiritual nourishment to live for God. David was saying that to have God is to have all you really need. god is enough.

If you feel you don't have everything you need, ask:
(1) Is this really a need?
(2) Is this really good for me?
(3) Is this the best time for me to have what I desire?

Even if you answer yes to all three questions, God may allow you to go without to help you grow more dependent on Him. He may want you to learn that you need Him more than having to achieve your immediate desires. Affirm your trust in God, regardless of how you feel. Thank Him for everything, though it seems unnatural - even irrational. Gradually you will begin to ascend. If you choose supernatural responses - you will experience God's unfathomable peace.
