A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the His Little Shop 50% Sale such a success this past weekend, and to everyone who came along to support it.

From the treasure-hunting, to the boerewors rolls, tea and cake, there was a real sense of community and joy throughout the morning. The atmosphere was so special, and it was wonderful to see so many people coming together under the warm sunshine, and finding a bargain or two.

Thank you for supporting this ministry. Every purchase made and every donation given helps support the work and ministry of the church, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity.

Last week we were privileged to host the Midlands Chamber Choir's performance of "Death, Life and the Rest". The choir shared a beautiful program of music that resonated deeply with this slower autumn season.

We are pleased to report that the concert raised R5,600, and the choir generously donated 50% of the proceeds, that is R2,800, to the church. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event, and a special thank you to Leo Quayle and the Fundraising Committee for organising such a wonderful evening.

A month ago, our church enjoyed a wonderful camp weekend away at Mount Park Guest House🏕️🍃😊

The weekend was open to anyone who was able to join, and it was so lovely to have members of all ages come together to spend time in fellowship, rest, and community. We even had a little furry friend, Benji, join us, which added even more joy to the weekend 🐾

From birding in the beautiful forest surroundings to sharing meals, laughter, and meaningful conversations, it was a refreshing and memorable time away. The weekend gave us the opportunity to get to know one another beyond our usual church gatherings and simply enjoy being together.

On the Sunday, a few more congregants joined us at the farm for a church service in the Mount Park chapel. We were also blessed by one of the other guests staying on the farm, who joined us with his guitar, and together we enjoyed beautiful worship in a truly special setting 🎶✨

A special thank you to Sally and the family at Mount Park Guest Farm for accommodating us so warmly. The venue was perfect, and we truly enjoyed the peaceful, laidback atmosphere and eclectic vibe throughout our stay. There is clearly a lot of thought and love poured into the space 💚

We’re grateful for the memories made, the fellowship shared, and the blessing of worshipping together in God’s beautiful creation. Thank you to everyone who attended, those who prayed around the event, and to our camp committee for making the weekend possible.

Some pictures from our very special Pentecost service this morning. Revd. David Kleinhans spoke to us about the Holy Spirit creating a community where we can all belong without having to be identical. His message encouraged us to to allow the Holy Spirit to work his healing power within us, and to help us reach out to one other in ways we may never have thought possible before, always trusting in God. 🫂🔥🕊️

Thank you so very much to everyone who helped set up and organise our Team Quiz Night. It was a fabulous event filled with laughter, friendly competition, and a few tired brains by the end of the evening! Tt was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves. We truly appreciate all the effort that went into making the night so memorable. ☺️ And well done to our winners "Seven Wrinkles and a Smoothie" 😆😌 It was well-deserved!

As the colder weather starts settling in, we’ve already had a number of people asking whether we will be handing out blankets again this year, especially many of our regular Lifeboat voucher collectors.

We’re happy to share that our 2026 Blanket Drive is officially underway, and we have already started distributing blankets to those in need. ❤️

What has also been incredibly special this year is seeing the drive turn into a real Winter Warmth Drive, with kind donations of beanies coming in as well. Every blanket, beanie, and warm item makes a difference to someone facing winter without enough protection from the cold.

We are so grateful for the generosity and support from our community. Below are just some of the donations we have collected so far. Thank you to everyone helping us bring warmth, comfort, and dignity to others this winter. 🧣🧤

Hi everyone, just a reminder that the Grow College classes on the Practice of Sabbath begin tomorrow evening from 6:00–7:30pm.

It’s not too late to join! Guided by Revd. David Kleinhans, we will explore what it means to practice Sabbath in a meaningful and life-giving way. I've attached a short trailer to give you a feel for this free course.

To book, please contact the church office or simply send me a message with your name and whether you’ll need childcare. Childcare can be arranged with a bit of notice.

We’d love to have you join us!
