Join us as we continue to on gender-based violence.

Beauty for Ashes is a CRC initiative dedicated to bringing hope, healing, restoration, and practical support to women affected by gender-based violence. Through this initiative, we stand together as a church and community to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women who need it most.

We are excited to invite every lady from CRC Kimberley and the greater Kimberley community to join us for a powerful and life-changing Beauty For Ashes with Pastor Sanri Coetzee.

Beauty For Ashes is designed to serve and empower women, trusting that every lady who attends will receive encouragement, restoration, and practical tools for everyday life. Together we will be discussing mental health, emotional wellbeing, renewing the mind, and finding healing and freedom through God's Word.

Romans 12:2 reminds us:
"Be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

Our prayer is that every woman who attends will receive a word that brings restoration in every area of her life as she discovers God's truth, healing, and purpose for her future.

Funds raised through through Beauty For Ashes will contribute towards supporting vulnerable women and helping establish resources and initiatives that bring hope, healing, restoration, and practical assistance to those rebuilding their lives. Together, we can be part of making a lasting impact in our city and nation.

To be a witness.
To overcome fear.
To experience breakthrough.
To push things forward.
To confront the lies of the enemy.
To step out in bold faith.
To expand and enlarge God’s Kingdom.
To claim every covenant promise God has spoken over your life.

This Morning Pastor Bryan Coetzee preached a Pentecost Sunday message titled: “The Flint, The Flame & The Fire.”

As we reflected on Pentecost, we were reminded that the Church was birthed in power. Jesus instructed His disciples to wait for the promise of the Father, saying:

“You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…” Acts 1:8

God is calling us to be conductors of His power, to be plugged into the Holy Spirit and to carry His light into our families, our city, and our nation.

The flint represents conviction, stubborn faith, and truth that stands firm under pressure. Just as flint creates a spark when struck, true believers carry a faith that ignites the fire of God. In a generation of compromise and “nice Christianity,” God is raising firebrands filled with boldness, conviction, and the Holy Spirit.

Be the flint.
Carry the flame.
Fan the fire.
Stand for truth.
Walk in power.
Be a witness for Jesus.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1
