*Your Word for 05 June 2026*

📖 *Psalm 54:4*

_‘Surely God is my help; the Lord is the One Who sustains me.’_

- How wonderful it is to know that we can turn to God as our Helper.
- Not only is He a Helper but He is also the Sustainer of your soul.
- Have confidence and trust in God’s faithfulness towards you.
- He knows and He will provide what is best for you.

🙏🏾 *Prayer:* Lord, thank You that You are my Helper. You know me better than I know myself and You always step in to lift me up and carry me, in the Name of Jesus. Amen. -

Your Daily Prayer 🙏 1 Kings 1:43

Friday, 5 June 2026
“When ambition rushes ahead, trust His timing—He opens the right doors at the right moment.”

Scripture of the Day
And Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah, Truly our lord King David has made Solomon king.
1 Kings 1:43

PRAYER
I will greet this new day with fresh excitement and expectation! I will praise You, Lord, because in Your faithfulness You have declared and spoken promotion over me, just as You did for Solomon. As You increased Solomon’s wisdom and understanding, I thank You that You are increasing my mind and influence so that I can step into my new season with full confidence that my position is secure at the table of success. I declare that I have been chosen by God to accomplish great things for His kingdom, and I decree that nothing and no one will be able to dethrone those You have appointed to impact and influence the world. Today, I put all the plans of the enemy on notice: they will not prevail, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, I will claim my throne and succeed in my life’s calling. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Bible in a Year: Adonijah or Solomon
Have you ever felt that if you do not seize the opportunity now, you will lose it forever? When we grow tired of waiting, ambition can start to sound like wisdom, and we may push open doors that God has not opened.

In 1 Kings 1, Adonijah crowned himself before David spoke, but God’s plan still lifted Solomon at the right time. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to trust the Lord with all our heart, not relying on our own understanding, because He knows the path we cannot see.

If someone gets ahead by force, or if you are tempted to do the same, bring that desire to God. He is not late, and He is not ignoring you. Ask Him for patience and pure motives today, and let His faithfulness guide your next step.

Your Nightly Prayer 🌙 Psalm 42:1

TUESDAY, 2 JUNE 2026

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” - HEBREWS 11:1

DEVOTION

Based on Hebrews 11

Faith isn’t blind—it’s deeply rooted in trust. It’s the foundation that gives substance to our hopes and assurance to what we can’t yet see. Faith holds tightly to God’s promises, even when circumstances don’t align. It believes that God is good, even in waiting, and that what He has spoken will come to pass.

The heroes of faith listed in Hebrews 11 didn’t live perfect lives—they lived trusting lives. Like them, we’re called to believe in what God can do and who He is. Faith transforms uncertainty into expectation and gives strength to keep moving forward.

A.C.T.S. REFLECTION

ADORATION: God, You are faithful and true. I praise You as the One who keeps every promise and rewards those who trust in You.

CONFESSION: I often struggle to believe what I cannot see. I let doubt cloud my confidence in Your Word.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the gift of faith. Thank You for the past moments where You’ve proven Yourself even when I couldn’t see the outcome.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, strengthen my faith today. Help me trust You fully, even when I don’t have all the answers. Let my hope rest not in outcomes, but in Your character. Fill my heart with expectation and peace, knowing that Your unseen work is as real as what I can touch. Teach me to live by faith and not by sight.

PRAYER

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after You, God. - PSALM 42:1

My God and Saviour, tonight, my soul requires rest. As a deer pants for streams of living water, my soul thirsts after Your Spirit. Day and night, I need Your refreshing presence to restore my soul and uphold my countenance. There are nights when I am restless, and thoughts thrash around my mind like waves upon the shore. Steady the waves, oh God. Calm the seas and speak peace over me as I sleep. When downcast and lacking rest, place me upon the gentle shores of love and grace. Let me feel the warmth of Your embrace. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

“Bring regret into the light; confess, and He meets your weakness with steady mercy.”

Scripture of the Day

And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. - 2 Samuel 24:24

PRAYER

When the abundance of Your goodness is apparent and on display in my life, I will make sure that insecurities won’t lead me into thinking that all that I have will be preserved by my own methods and tactics. As You increase the works of my hands, Lord help me not to see those You’ve called me to lead as commodities, and not sheep You’ve called me to honour, protect, and shepherd. I declare that You are my sustaining force and the lifter of my head. Keep me from experiencing loss and defeat as David did. I will instead look to You and Your power to cover my weak areas when I feel insecure and inadequate. Thank You for reminding me that my life is about serving and helping others as I grow to become more like You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Bible in a Year: Taking A Count of the People

Have you ever made a choice you knew wasn’t right, and then felt that heavy drop in your stomach afterwards? Sometimes we reach for control, approval, or proof that we’re “enough,” even when it pulls us away from trust.

In 2 Samuel 24, David counted his soldiers, not because God asked, but because pride whispered that numbers could keep him safe. As soon as it was done, guilt hit him fast, and he turned back to God. That kind of honesty matters, because 1 John 1:9 reminds us that when we confess, He is faithful to forgive and cleanse.

If you’re carrying regret today, you don’t have to hide it or punish yourself forever. You can bring it into the light, ask for help, and take one small step back towards Him. God is not shocked by your weakness, and His mercy is still steady when your heart feels shaky.

teady when your heart feels shaky.

Devotions: 4 June 2026

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Do you ever wonder if God hears your prayers? Sometimes our loud lives can make it difficult to hear the voice of God. We can get so busy, we forget to stop and take notice when God actually provides for us. God’s word reminds us that when we pray, He will listen! Bring your worries, cares and joys to Him. He promises to listen.

Have a blessed day as you bring all your needs to the alter🙏🏻✝️🛐🎚️
