Friday we visited Riverlands Primary School with a team of amazing volunteers. Thank you Samaritan's Feet South Africa for making it possible to serve so many kids. They were so proud of their new shoes, and all the kids were bragging and trying to keep the dust of their shoes. It were so refreshing to experience so much gratitude from the school, the kids and the volunteers.

Thank you Samaritan's Feet South Africa that we could host a wash&wear shoe distribution and bless 420 children each with their own pair of world shoe. With 25 Volunteers washing feet and seeing the joy on these kids faces, it reminded me agian what tremendous joy it brings just sitting with them, connecting with them and teaching them that they should choose the right path to walk with their new shoes.

We continued with our foundational scripture, 📖 Ephesians 6:10–16, where we learned about the Armour of God. We established that as God’s children, we are in a battle against the enemy, but with the Armour of God and God on our side, we are able to stand against attacks and overcome 🙌⚔️

It was so special to hear many of the boys say that they want to join the army one day to protect people from the “bad army” 🥹❤️

We also sang “Ek is Jesus se soldaatjie” and after today’s lesson, the song carried such a deeper and more meaningful message for all of us ✨🙏🏻

So grateful to see these young hearts growing stronger in faith and understanding God’s Word.

The Nomzamo group completed Lesson 2 where we read and discussed:

Last week we learned about the story of Noah’s Ark and how Noah was obedient to God 🙏📖 We spoke about how important obedience is and how things could have gone very differently for Noah and his family if he did not listen to what God asked him to do.

We also reflected on how we are sometimes disobedient too, but even then, God still loves us unconditionally ❤️
📖 Scripture: Genesis 6

After the lesson, I handed out goodies and the children were so grateful 🙌✨

We also did revision on everything we have learned so far as a little check-up 📚 After that, we started learning about the Fruits of the Spirit, focusing on Love ❤️ We spoke about what love means to them and discussed acts of love that we can show to the people around us.

Over the past two lessons, we learned such beautiful and powerful truths together ❤️📖

Last week’s lesson was “Spirit Glows – Love Grows” ✨
We learned that God sent His Holy Spirit to live with us, His people. For our love to grow, we need the Fruits of the Spirit 🍎❤️ We spoke about being kind even when it is difficult and how love grows when we share it with others.

📖 Scriptures:
Acts 2:3–4
Galatians 5:22

The other lesson was “Earth Awaits / God Creates” 🌍✨
We learned that Jesus will come again and that God is not finished yet. He is creating a new world and new hearts. God always keeps His promises, and while we wait, we must live with hope and choose to do what is right 🙏🏻❤️

Last week with the little ones, we finished their books because some of them missed a few classes and we don’t always get the opportunity to catch up, so we used this time to do so together 📖✨
We also spent some special time just talking and enjoying each other’s company.
With the bigger group, they used their group time to help the little ones complete their books, showing such kindness and teamwork ❤️
The boys also took the initiative to help clean the garden since I don’t always get the chance to do it, and I truly appreciated their helping hands 🌱🙏🏻
So proud of this amazing Sir Lowry’s Pass group and the love, care, and support they show one another.

Seeing the children reading their Bibles, painting, and growing together has truly been special.

Temperance Town's group lesson was all about the Armour of God 🛡️✨
We spoke about how Saul had a life-changing encounter with Jesus that caused him to become completely sold out for Christ. Through his journey, trials, and even his time in prison, he wrote many books of the New Testament to encourage and guide believers in their walk with God.

We also learned about the Armour of God and had so much fun discovering the purpose and function of each piece! 📖⚔️

We learned about the 2nd hand and discussed the first 5 books of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
