Women's Day tends to arrive with a lot of language about being strong. Unbreakable. A pillar. And there is truth in that, but it can land heavily if you are running on empty this week.

So here is the other half of it. God has never asked you to be the one holding everything together. That was never your job. He is not waiting for you to become impressive before He comes close.

You are allowed to be tired and still be deeply loved. Both things are true at the same time.

To every woman reading this, wherever today finds you, you are seen.

If your child is battling anxiety or depression, you probably know how lonely that road can feel.

This is what led me to create Steady Hearts, a course for parents walking beside a child or teen who is struggling. Over eight sessions we look at what is happening in your child’s mind and body, how your relationship with them steadies them, and we hold it all together within our faith.

Developed together with counselling psychologist Doctor Hanlie Meyer, so it rests on solid ground. You do not need a background in psychology. If you love your child and you are weary, that is enough.
