Jehoshaphat loved to consult his peers, he loved to hear the opinions of friends and couldn't take his own decisions. As you climb up the ladder of your destiny, you become more lonely as people become envious and begin to speak against you.
A human being is meant to look up, not down, we are meant to have something higher to look up to, a greater purpose to walk towards. Your pastor needs to be better than you so he can be able to lift you up while he's also going higher. The people of the world condemn the success of a pastor but celebrate the success of non believers.
A pastor is a father, regardless of his age. The blessing that you recieve is the blessing of the honour you have reverence for. If you see your pastor as a boy, you will recieve the blessing of a boy, if you see him as a father you recieve the blessing of a father. A pastor's fatherhood is not dependent on your acknowledgement, you will lose your blessing while others recieve theirs. The blessing you receive depends on the honour you give.
Ahab has an agreeable character, the character of a people pleaser. It is not easy to be a leader, Elisha eventually agreed to the request of the prophets to look for Elijah because they begged him until he was ashamed. The problem with us Christians is that we want our pastors to agree with us even when they shouldn't.
We need to pray for our leaders, including those in politics. When jehoshaphat and Ahab had a meeting, the end result was an agreement to go to war with other nations and this war affected the people of these nations.
Prayer for leaders***
Hebrews 11 v1-3
Everything you see came from the unseen, if you want to achieve a house you first see yourself living there. Born again means "having God" , so everything that belongs to you as a child of God is born again. Even if you get in an accident, your car will not be as damaged as that of a non believer because your car is born again.
You have to see things in the spirit, design them the way you want them to be before they manifest in the physical.

I build in the spirit
I speak in the spirit
I am the spirit that reigns, in my family, community, office
What I am I share with others
Whoever has your ear has you heart, better to have your heart captured by the word of God.
You have to be careful of the people you surround yourself with, eating on the table of the enemy can uproot a seed that was planted and nurtured for many years. Bad people are not afraid to influence you with their bad characters but you're afraid to leave them, you want to be agreeable and relevant to the wrong people. We have to be a generation which stands for the truth

Lord help my character
It's very important for a Christian to have the character of God, there is a character of light that we need to have and also need to be. When Jesus enters our hearts he becomes the light in us but there comes a point when we ourselves become light, and do more than what He did.
