Sunday Recap: “Are you the one or do we expect another”
Isaiah 40:3, Matt 3:1-2, Mark 1:4, Matt 11:1-6

People of God, John the Baptist was sent with one assignment: “Prepare the way for the Lord” Isaiah 40:3.

John was the Voice, not the Answer
Isaiah prophesied hundreds of years before: “A voice in the wilderness will prepare the highway for our God.”
John shows up in the desert preaching, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near” Matt 3:2.
His whole purpose was not to draw attention to himself, but to point people to Jesus. He was the voice. Jesus is the Word.

Jesus is the Proof John was pointing to
When John was in prison doubting, he sent messengers: “Are you the One we should expect, or should we wait for someone else?” Matt 11:3.
Jesus didn’t just say “yes”. He gave evidence: “The blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and good news is preached to the poor” Matt 11:5.
He was saying: Look at the fulfillment. Isaiah’s prophecy is happening right now. John did his job — he prepared the way.

“Blessed is the one who does not stumble because of me” Matt 11:6. Don’t get offended when God doesn’t move how you expected. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the One.

Sunday Recap - Gratitude
"Come into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name." - Psalm 100:4

Sunday hit differently. We heard the story of 10 lepers healed, but only 1 returned to give thanks. Jesus asked, “Where are the other nine?”

That question is for us too.
God heals, provides, protects, and carries us daily… yet sometimes we run off like the 9 and forget to return.

Today I choose to be the one who comes back. The one who kneels, lifts my hands, and says “Thank You, Lord” before asking for more. Because gratitude is worship. Gratitude remembers. Gratitude keeps our hearts soft before Him. Have gratitude before, during and after every circumstance

Whatever He’s done for you this week, don’t just receive it - return with thanksgiving. He’s worthy of it all.

Blended was CHARACTER!

POV: You walk in and every legend shows up in real life. Rhea Ripley came through with a homemade WWE belt and main character energy. The Rock raised that eyebrow. Tupac pulled up. Jake Sparrow set sail. John Wick was on guard duty. Queen Esther owned the throne. Kim Possible saved the night. Batman x2 - double protection 😂 And Prince Eric + Princess Ariel gave us fairytale vibes.

The drip was real, the creativity, the laughs and the energy was unmatched. The boldness y’all showed up with... Blended has never felt more alive. Hardest winner to pick because EVERYONE ate and left no crumbs

Thank you for dressing up, showing up, and giving us your best. We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re still picking our jaws up from the floor. Until the next one✌🏾

Pentecost Sunday 🔥

What a powerful day in God’s presence! We remembered how the Holy Spirit fell on the early church and set hearts ablaze. The Holy Spirit is still moving, still filling, still speaking.

“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”- Acts 2:4

May that same fire fall on us again. Thank you Jesus for Pentecost!
