Our vision is to exalts the name of Jehova Rapha in the church of Jesus Christ and also teaches and preaches divine healing in the body of Christ. Can a Christian be possessed by a demon? They very phrasing of this question is unfortunate. The question is usually asked in a derogatory manner by those who totally reject the idea that a born-again Christian could ever be troubled or afflicted by a demon. The problem revolves around the use of the word possessed, a word that suggests the demon totally inhabits and owns the sufferer with no area free and with free will absolutely blocked. I do not believe a born-again Christian can be possessed by a demon. They very idea of a Christian who loves the Lord being owned and controlled by a demon is totally abhorrent and unacceptable. If Christians would abandon the use of this confusing word “possessed” and speak of demon problem in terms of “oppressions,” “vexations,” or “bindings,” believers would avoid a lot of confusion.
