God not only asks us to do what is right; He also provides us with the desire and the strength to do it to fulfill His good purpose.

Father God, thank You for working in me according to Your good purpose. Thank You for giving me both the desire and the strength to do Your will. I choose to surrender my life to You each day and to follow Your leading through the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Father God, thank You that Your presence makes the difference in my life. Just as You were with David, be with me each day. Please guide me step by step through Your Holy Spirit. May my life bring glory to You, and may everything I do be accomplished through Your strength and grace. Amen.

Just as a mother bird spreads her wings over her young to shield them from danger, God covers us with His presence and protection.

Prayer:
Father God, thank You for covering me under Your loving wings. Thank You for Your divine protection over me and my loved ones. If You are for me, then who can be against me? Amen.

Here is your Word for today:

Acts 1:8 (NIV)
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave His disciples this powerful promise and instruction. They were not to rely on their own strength or wisdom, but on the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit would empower them to boldly preach the Gospel, live for Christ, and be witnesses of His love and truth to the world. This promise is still relevant for us as believers today. God gives us His Holy Spirit and empowers us to live for Him and share His message with others.

Prayer:
Father God, thank You for the gift and power of the Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your Spirit and power and help me to be Your witness wherever I go. Through Your Spirit, empower me with boldness to share Your truth with others. Amen.
