Proverbs 8:32-34 “Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it. Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.” Oh Lord we have discovered the truth of this as we come daily to Your table. Seeking You, waiting upon You: “I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word. My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word.” Psalm 119:147-148 It causes faith to rise up as we hear Your word and it settles in our spirit. May You make us a stable people who will not be moved, who desire purity and holiness and it is our prayer that You will raise up Houses where others who need fortification will find such places of prayer where Your presence dwells and where You are worshipped in Spirit and in Truth. Oh Lord, a pigsty caused the prodigal to remember the abundance of Your House and it brought him to repentance. “The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'”
(Luke 15:21) But You were waiting for the day he would return, to receive him back with open arms. It was a famine that caused Isaac to dig new wells, so we see that You use dire circumstances to draw Your people back to You. We are experiencing such circumstances in our times and we pray that it will be no different in our day. That people will again return to You and they will be trained in Your ways, for “I am God, your God, who teaches you how to live right and well. I will show you what to do, where to go.”
Isaiah 48:17
Oh Lord You have given us a heart for this generation and trained us to pull down strongholds. To keep the flame on the altar of prayer alive, for so many are in dark places of confusion and oppression, so we call upon You to set the captives free! Isaiah 58: 9-10 ‘’Then, when you call, the LORD will answer. ‘Yes, I am here,’ he will quickly reply. “Remove the heavy yoke of oppression, feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” And so we await Your appointed time for we know that You have heard and will answer! In the meantime we pray that You will mold us and prepare us so that we will come forth as a victorious, spotless bride. Psalm 31:14 “But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hand”
