Anointed To Heal (You Are Anointed)

Scripture For Today
You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38, NASB

When Jesus walked the earth, He was on a mission. Not only did He come to die on the cross and save us from our sins, He had a mission to set people free from every kind of brokenness and oppression. He was anointed, or empowered by God, to fulfill His mission. Notice it doesn’t say that He went around doing good and healing some people. No, it says that He went around doing good and healing "all." That was His mission, and He is still fulfilling that mission in the earth today.
The Bible says that you have become an ambassador of Jesus. That means you are His representative. As His representative, you have access to the same power and authority that He has. You are empowered, or anointed, to fulfill His mission in the earth. You are anointed to do good and heal those who are oppressed by the enemy. Is there someone in your life who needs a touch from God today? You are His hands and feet. You are anointed to do good and pray for the sick. As you reach out to others and allow God to use you, you will see His power flow through you, and you will live the life of victory God has in store for you.

Prayer;
Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing me. Thank You for doing good in my life and setting me free! Show me how I can be an instrument of Your goodness and healing to those around me today in Jesus’ name.
Amen

Guard Your Heart.

Scripture For Today
Proverbs 4:23, NIV - Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

One of our most important responsibilities is to keep our heart pure. It’s easy to let what’s on the outside get on the inside. It takes discipline to say, “I’m not going to dwell on that offense. I’m not going to feel sorry for myself because something didn’t work out.” Maybe you need to forgive somebody, or maybe you’re still sour about a dream that didn’t work out, or maybe you’re still beating yourself up over a mistake you made. You only have so much emotional energy each day. It’s not an unlimited supply. Do you know how much energy it takes to hold a grudge, to go around offended? That’s wasting valuable energy that you need for your dreams, for your children, and for your destiny.
Life is too short for you to live offended, unforgiving, and bitter over what didn’t work out. Quit letting what’s on the outside get on the inside; start guarding your heart.

Prayer.
Heavenly Father God, thank you for this new day and for the new chance to start fresh. I pray that by the power of your Holy Spirit, you will guard my heart and mind from all evil and attacks from the enemy. Help me set my heart on things above, not on earthly things. I commit myself into Your hands, knowing that You are able to keep me safe and secure. In Jesus' name,
Amen

Blessed Monday saints of God.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
James 1:5, NIV

Get The Right Image
God is not keeping a record of all your faults. Sometimes we think He’s in heaven, watching to catch us. “I saw that failure. Let me write that down. I heard that comment. Gabriel, put a star by that one—that was really bad. I’ll have to withhold My goodness.” No, God is not a faultfinder. He’s not an accuser. He doesn’t go around saying, “You knew better and still failed, so you’re on your own.” God is not waiting for you to perform perfectly and then He’s going to show you His goodness. He is full of mercy. He’ll show you favor that you don’t deserve.
When you have the right image of God, you know that He’s for you, that He’s not basing His goodness toward you on your performance but on His grace alone. Then all the guilt and the condemnation have to go. God will give you the power to overcome anything that’s holding you back.

Today
“Heavenly Father, thank You that You are not a faultfinder, but You are full of mercy. Thank You that You are not waiting for me to perform perfectly and then You’ll show me Your love and goodness. I believe that You will empower me to become all You created me to be. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.”

The Laughter Of Amazement.

When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Psalm 126:1–2, NIV

The Laughter Of Amazement
The Israelites had been taken into captivity by the Babylonians. The return and the restoration of Jerusalem had been anticipated for so long that it seemed like a dream to them. Some of them had waited their entire lifetime. Their joy was beyond containing. They were laughing in amazement, saying, “This is like a dream. It’s too good to be true.”
Some of the things you’ve been dreaming about—to get out of debt, to start that business, to meet the right person, to finish college—the odds may be against you, it seems laughable, but God is about to surprise you. Stay in faith, because like the Israelites, the day is coming where God fills your mouth with the laughter of amazement. It’s going to seem like a dream. You’re not only going to be amazed, but the people around you are going to be so in awe that all they can do is laugh with you.

Prayer
“Heavenly Father, thank You for the things You’ve put into my heart that seem laughable and that I have to dare to believe can happen. Thank You that You do what seems to be too good to be true. I’m going to stay in faith and look forward to laughing in amazement. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.”

On the Verge of a Miracle

Today's Scripture
“As soon as the priests who carry the ark of the LORD—the Lord of all the earth—set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off and stand up in a heap.”
Joshua 3:13, NIV

When Joshua and the two million Israelites came to cross the Jordan River, it was in flood stage, over 150 feet wide, with violent currents rushing down from the melting snow on Mount Hermon. It looked impassable. The problem was too big. When the people wanted to turn around, Joshua told them, “Keep on walking.” As soon as the priests got their feet wet, as they obeyed God, the miracle happened and they were given entrance into the Promised Land.
You may be at the Jordan River right now. The problem in your health, or your finances, or your relationships is bigger than it’s ever been and you don’t see how it can work out. You’re tempted to quit believing. That’s a test. You’re on the verge of a miracle. You have to get your feet wet. If you keep walking, praying, and expecting, you’re going to see God open things up that you never dreamed would open, turn problems around you never dreamed would turn around. That Jordan River is setting you up for your promised land.

Today's prayer;
“Father, thank You for the promise that You will part my Jordan Rivers when I step into the water. When things look impossible, I know that You want me to be bold and keep taking steps of obedience, to keep praying and expecting. I believe I’m going to see miracles along the way. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.”

Blessed Wednesday saints of God.

Scripture For Today
You have crowned him with glory and honor.
Psalm 8:5, NKJV

Crowned With Favour
When life throws you a curve, you have to have the right perspective when dark times linger. A bad break, a disappointment, a divorce, or a sickness can't stop you. Keep hoping on in faith. God didn't crown you with favor and give you a royal robe so you could go around anchored to doubt, fear, and bitterness. Being hopeful is about your soul being anchored to the right thing. If you're not anchored to hope, you'll become anchored to something else. You can become anchored to discouragement and see everything with a tainted perspective. Everything is sour. I know people who are anchored to bitterness. They're so focused on who hurt them and what wasn't fair that bitterness has poisoned their whole lives. You can become anchored to self-pity and go around with a chip on your shoulder, always thinking about how unfair life has been. Being anchored to any of those things is going to keep you from your destiny. It's time to cut that anchor and come over into hope.

Prayer For Today
Father, thank You that You have put a crown of glory and honor on my head by Your grace. Thank You that my hope and faith can be firmly and securely anchored in You. Help me to keep my anchor down and to cut the rope to any anchor that is less than hope. In Jesus' Name,
Amen

Proclaim His Name.

Scripture For Today .

Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples. Psalm 105:1, NASB

When someone gives you a meaningful or costly gift, how do you show your appreciation? Do you tell them how grateful you are? What do you do with that gift? When it’s something you are truly thankful for, you openly and proudly display the gift. When others see and admire it, you probably tell them where it came from and about the generosity of the giver. In the same way, we should give thanks to the Lord and constantly show our gratefulness and appreciation for all He has done for us by displaying the gifts He’s given us. We should also display the characteristics of our heavenly Father. We should display His likeness. We should have His eyes, His mouth and His mannerisms, too. We should display love, peace, joy, kindness and hope. We should live our lives in such a way that our very actions declare His greatness and cause others to take notice. Declare His greatness by living a life of gratitude to Him and let the whole world know what He has done for you.

Prayer.
Heavenly Father in heaven, I commit to You every area of my life—my mind, my will, and my emotions. Reveal to me anything that isn’t pleasing to You. Show me Your ways so that I can walk with You and live righteously in every area of my life. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

Be On Purpose.

Scripture For Today
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15–16, NIV

Time is one of the most valuable commodities we have. It’s more valuable than money. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time. To “redeem the time” means don’t waste it. We have a responsibility to use our time wisely. Paul said in effect that if you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to be an “on purpose” person and invest your life in what’s best for you. You know where you’re going. You’re not vague, distracted, waiting to see what happens. You’re focused. You’re making the most of each opportunity.
God has given you a present. It’s called “today.” Are you living it to the full? With purpose and passion? Pursuing your dreams? Or are you distracted? Indifferent? Just doing whatever comes along? Make this decision that you’re going to redeem the time. Get focused. Get organized. Set your goals. Make your plans. Once this day is over, you can never get it back.

Prayer:
“Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the gift of this day to live to the full. Thank You that You are calling me to invest my life in what’s best for me, to redeem the time, and to run my life with purpose and passion. Help me to make the most of every opportunity. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.”

Be Pure In Heart

Scripture For Today
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Matthew 5:8, NIV

When Jesus said “pure in heart,” the word pure in the original language is where we get our word catharsis, which means “cleansing, releasing, purifying.” After a surgery, the doctor may put in a catheter, which is from the same root word. It’s a tube that drains out the impurities in the body—the infection, the toxins, the waste. The doctor knows that these contaminates will come naturally. He’s not alarmed unless they’re not released and flushed out.
God is saying that you’re going to be blessed when you learn to release the impurities of life, emptying out all the things that will infect you. Bitterness, guilt, worry, doubt, and self-pity are impurities that will come, but you have to let them go and flush them out or they will contaminate your spirit and poison you. But they can’t hurt you if they just pass through. If you let them go, God will fill your life with good things.

Prayer For Today
“Heavenly Father, thank You that I can have a pure heart today. Thank You that I can release any worries, any doubts, any guilt and bitterness, and flush them out of my life. Help me to forgive whatever needs forgiving and let go of the past. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.”

Meek Isn't Weak

Scripture For Today
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
- Matthew 5:5, NIV

Meek doesn't mean weak. Meekness is strength under control. When you ignore someone's negative comments, when you don't pay attention to other people's insults and criticisms, you're not being weak; you're being meek. You have the power to fight, you have the strength to straighten them out and let them know how you feel, but your strength is under control. You're not wasting your time and energy on things that are not between you and your destiny. If you stay on the high road, God will take care of your enemies. He can defend you better than you can defend yourself. My message is very simple: Quit letting other people get you upset and steal your joy. You can't control what people do; you can't control what they say, but you can control how you respond. Quit letting their negative comments upset you. You're not defined by what they say. Don't give it the time of day. If you maintain your meekness, God will fight your battles.

Prayer;
Heavenly Father, thank You that I have the power to remain quiet because You have worked meekness into my life. Thank You that I can stay on the high road and let You take care of other people's comments and attitudes. I've made up my mind that I'm going keep my joy. In Jesus Name,
Amen

Good morning saints of God.

Scripture For Today
And Laban said to him, Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the LORD has blessed me for your sake. Then he said, Name me your wages, and I will give it.
Genesis 30:27 28, NKJV

God time is the best.

For many years Jacob worked for his father-in-law, Laban, who lied to him, cheated him, and treated him unfairly. Jacob could have walked away in anger, but he took the high road and kept being his best, and Laban's livestock increased abundantly because of the favor on Jacob's life. But when Jacob finally decided to leave, Laban begged him to stay, offering him whatever wages he wanted. You may have people who haven't kept their word to you. They don't value who you are. Don't be offended. Be a Jacob and keep doing the right thing. They may discount you now, but there will come a time when they recognize they are blessed because of you, and they'll do anything to keep you. When Jacob left, he was not only a very wealthy man, but he left with the respect and the honor that he wasn't given for many years. God is your vindicator. If you stay on the high road, He'll make it up to you.

Prayer.
Heavenly Father, thank You that You see everything that has happened to me. Thank You that I can let go of every unfair thing and forgive quickly before bitterness can come in. I declare that You are my vindicator, and You will make my wrongs right. In Jesus Name,
Amen

RIGHT ON TIME

“For still the vision awaits its appointed time…If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:3, ESV

None of us like to go through waiting periods, but we all have things we’re waiting on—a dream to come to pass, our health to improve, to meet the right person. We know God put the promise in our heart, but we wonder why it’s taking so long to happen. The Scripture says there’s an appointed time, which means any other time is the wrong time. If you don’t understand that God will always be right on time, the waiting periods will cause you to be frustrated. But you can only receive the promise within God’s timing. He knows when you’re ready, when to open the door, when to turn it around. If it’s not happening yet, be mature enough to say with David, “God, my times are in Your hands.”
Now do your part and trust Him. Wait for the God who created the universe to unfold His plan for your life.

Prayer;
“Father God, thank You that You know what I need and have an appointed time set to get it to me. I choose to stop stressing out over what I don’t have, knowing it will be here down to the very second of when I really need it. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.”
