On 22nd July 2023, the YP of Avondale Congregation embarked on a community outreach project by sharing soup and bread at Gabrielskraal as part of the 67 minutes for the Mandela Day .

Blessed moments experienced spending time together with the community while filling up their stomachs with a warm cup of soup and bread.

We say Thank you to all who donated and helped us make a difference.

It is indeed much more better to give than Receive.

We kindly request any Donations to make Soup and Sandwiches. Donations can be given to Andrea up until Friday

We will be handing out soup and Sandwiches on Saturday 22nd July on our Community on Aid of Mandela Day and our Dare to Care Weekend.

Our meeting ended on a Wonderful Note as all the Ministers was standing in Line and all the Young people had the opportunity to greet each Minister.

On Monday the 10th July 23 we had a YP Leaders Cross-booking Meeting for all Young people and Ministers.

The topic for the evening was Our prayer Life.

Priest C Kalie presented the topic and he encouraged the Young People not to be shy when praying as its a conversation between yourself and God and he will never judge you.

He also discused the benefits of praying and also encouraged the Young people to use this acronym as guideline when praying.

Adoration Confession Thanksgiving Confession

During the Meeting Pr Charles encouraged the YP by saying Prayer brings Miracles to your Life.

Thereafter the group sang for Ethan Muller as he celebrated his birthday and the meeting ended on a Wonderful Note as all the Ministers was standing in Line and all the Young people had the oppurtunity to greet each Minister.
