29 RABI AL-AWWAL1448.
11-09-2026. FRIDAY.
*AN AYAH A DAY HELPS YOU UNDERSTAND ISLAM, INCREASES YOUR FAITH & BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO ALLAH*.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
9. O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Sallat on Friday (Jummuah), Come to the remembrance of Allah (Khutbah/sermon) & Sallat & leave off business (and every other thing). That is better for you if you did but know.

10. Then when the Sallat is ended, you may disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allah (by working etc) and remember Allah much that you may be successful.
*QURAN 62 vs 9-10*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Hurrairah: (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that, Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) talked about Friday & said, *There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday & if a Muslim gets it while praying & asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand. And he (Peace be on him) pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands*.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, VOL. 13: HADITH NO 257*.

*BROTHERS & SISTERS*,
Alhamdullilah It's Jummuah today.
1. Let us have our Janabah/Spiritual bath,
2. Recite Surah Kahf.
3. Send lots of Durood/Praises unto Rasuulillah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam).
4. Proceed to the Musjid early.
5. Silently recite the Glorious Quran or Zhikr while awaiting the Imam to deliver his Khutbah/sermon & Sallat.
Pls make Dua for all our deceased family & friends before departing.

36. Verily, those who disbelieve, if they had all that is in the earth & as much again therewith to ransom themselves thereby from the torment on the Day of Resurrection, it would never be accepted of them & theirs would be a painful torment.
*QURAN 5 vs 36*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Hurrairah: (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated. Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) said, Allah says: *I am just as My slave thinks I am (I.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him)*.
And I am with him if he remembers Me, if he remembers Me in himself, I too remembers him in Myself. If he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they. If he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him. If he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.

*BROTHERS & SISTERS*, let us offer our 5 daily Sallat on time, offer our Zakat with the aim of pleasing Only Allah, make Dua for Allah to grant our deceased parents, relatives, friends etc Forgiveness, Mercy & Peace in their graves & let their graves be their Jannah while we repay our Ramadan debt if we owe or participate in Sunnah fasting.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
And Thus We have revealed it as a Lecture in Arabic & have displayed therein certain threats, that peradventure they may keep from evil or that it may cause them to take heed.
*QURAN 20 vs 113*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Hurrairah (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated. Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) was asked, *What is the best deed*?. He replied, *To believe in Allah & His Apostle (Muhammed - Peace be on him)*. The questioner asked again, *What is the next in goodness*?
He replied, *To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah's Cause*. The questioner asked again, *What is next in goodness*?
He replied, *To perform Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca) Mabrur (I.e. accepted by Allah, performed with the intention of seeking Allah's pleasure only & not to show off, without committing a sin & in accordance with the traditions of the Prophet)*.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, BOOK NO. 2. HADITH NO. 1.25*.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
12. It is Allah Who has created seven Heavens & of the earth the like thereof (I.e. seven). His Command descends between them (Heavens & earth), that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah surrounds all things in (His) Knowledge.
*QURAN 65 vs 12*.

*HADITH*.
1.589. Abu Hurrairah (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated. Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) said: *If the people knew the reward for pronouncing the Adhan/Azhan & for standing in the first row (in congregational Prayers) & found no other way to get that except by drawing lots, they would draw lots & if they knew the reward of the Zuhr (afternoon) prayer (in the early moments of its stated time), they would race for fit (go early) & if they knew the reward of Ishai (evening) & Fajir (morning) congregational prayers, they would come to offer them even if they had to crawl*.

Let us try our level best to practice the above Hadith since it is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be on him).
*May Allah grant us the ability to do it & Worship Him always as He deserves to be Worship, grant our deceased family Mercy & Peace in their graves till we join them or meet in Al-Jannatul-Firdaus while granting us the strength & ability to over come any test we may face, grant us the good in this world & the ultimate best in the Hereafter*.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
35. O you who believe! Do your duty to Allah & fear Him. And seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause (as much as you can), so that you may be successful.

36. Verily, those who disbelieve, if they had all that is in the earth, and as much again therewith to ransom themselves thereby from the torment on the Day of Resurrection, it would never be accepted of them, and theirs would be a painful torment.

37. They will wish to come out of the fire, but never will they get out therefrom, and theirs will be a lasting torment.
*QURAN 5 vs 35,36-37*.

*HADITH*.
Sahl: (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Muhammed Peace be Upon him) said, *There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-raiyan & those who observe Fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection & none except them will enter through it*. It will be said, *Where are those who used to observe fast? They will get up & none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed & nobody will enter through it*.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, (FASTING), VOL. 31: HADITH NO 3.120*.

*BROTHERS & SISTERS*, the above Hadith teaches us about the importance/benefit of observing Fasting for the Sake/Pleasure of Allah. Let us use this opportunity to either observe Monday's & Thursday's Fasting or repay our Ramadan debt as we gradually approach new Ramadan.

11. And if any of your wives have gone from you to the disbelievers, (as apostates & you asked them to return back your Mahr but they refused), then you went out for a Ghazwah (military expedition) against them & gained b***y, then pay from that b***y to those whose wives have gone, the equivalent of what they had spent (on their Mahr). And fear Allah in Whom you believe.
*QURAN 60 vs 11*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Hurrairah *(May Allah be pleased with him)* narrated, Prophet Muhammed (peace be on him) said, *Hurry up with the dead body for if it was righteous, you are forwarding it to welfare, and if it was otherwise, then you are putting off an evil thing down your necks*.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, BK. 23. FUNERALS (AL-JANNA`IZ). NO 2.401*.

14. He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.

15. And the jinn: He created from a smokeless flame of fire.

16. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn & men) deny?.

17. He is the Lord of the two easts (places of sunrise during early summer & early winter) and the Lord of the two wests (places of sunset during early summer & early winter).

18. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn & men) deny?.
*QURAN 55 vs 14 to 18*.

*HADITH*.
Abdullah Bin Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated. Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) said to us, *O young men, those among you who can support a wife should marry, for it restrains eyes from casting evil glances & preserves one from immorality*.
But he who can not afford it (marriage) should observe fasting, for it is a means of controlling the sexual desire.
*SAHIH MUSLIM, BOOK 8 HADITH NO 3233*.

*BROTHERS & SISTERS*, we learn from the above Hadith about restraining our eyes from haram things, observing voluntary Fasting if we can not afford to marry.

130. O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury/interest) doubled & multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful.

131. And fear the Fire, which is prepared for the disbelievers.

132. And obey Allah & His Messenger (Muhammed-Peace be on him) that you may obtain mercy.
*QURAN 3 vs 130 -132*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Hurrairah (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated. Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) said, *Avoid the 7 great destructive sins*.
The people enquired, *O Allah's Messenger! What are they*?
He said,
1. To join others in worship along with Allah.
2. To practice socery.
3. To kill a person which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause (according to Islamic law).
4. To eat up usury/interest.
5. To eat up an orphan's wealth.
6. To show one's back to the enemy & fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting.
7. To accuse chaste women, who never even think of anything touching their chastity & are true believers.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, BK. 4, HADITH NO. 28*.

175. So, as for those who believed in Allah & held fast to Him, He will admit them to His Mercy & Grace (i.e., Paradise) and guide them to Himself by the Straight Path.
*QURAN 4 vs 174-175*.

*HADITH*.
Umar: (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that, Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) said, *Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised the son of Maryam/Mary (May Allah be pleased with him), for I am only a Slave. So call me the Slave of Allah & His Apostle*.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, VOL. 55: HADITH NO 4.654*.
