25 ZHUL-HIJJAH 1447.
11-06-2026 THURSDAY.
*AN AYAH A DAY HELPS YOU UNDERSTAND ISLAM, INCREASES YOUR FAITH & BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO ALLAH*.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
41. O Messenger (Muhammed Peace be on him)! Let not those who hurry to fall into disbelief grieve you, of such who say: *We believe* with their mouths but their hearts have no faith. And of the Jews are men who listen much & eagerly to lies - listen to others who have not come to you.
They change the words from their places; they say, *If you are given this, take it, but if you are not given this, then beware*! And whosoever Allah wants to put in Al-Fitnah (error, because of his rejecting of faith), you can do nothing for him against Allah. Those are the ones whose hearts Allah does not want to purify (from disbelief & hypocrisy), for them there is a disgrace in this world & in the Hereafter a great torment.
*QURAN 5 vs 41*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Hurrairah: (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated. Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) used to invoke (Allah) saying,
*Allahumma Ini Audhu Bika Min Azaabil Qabr, Wa Min Azaabil Nnar, Wa Min Fitnatil Mahya Wa Imamat, Wa Min Fitnatil Masih Ad-dajjal*,
(O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the punishment in the grave & from the punishment in the Hell fire & from the afflictions of life & death, and the afflictions of Al-Masih Ad-dajjal (the anti-Christ).
*SAHIH BUKHARI, VOL. 23: HADITH NO 2.459*.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
73. And when Our clear Verses are recited to them, (those who disbelieve - the rich & strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury), say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) who have a hard life. Which of the 2 groups (i.e. believers or disbelievers) is best in (point of) position & as regards station (place of council for consultation).

74. And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods & outward appearance.
*QURAN 19 vs 73-74*.

*HADITH*.
Uqba Bin Al-Harith (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Once Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon him) offered the Asr Sallat/prayer & then hurriedly went to his house & returned immediately.

I asked him as to what was the matter & he said, *I left a piece of gold at home which was from charity & i disliked to let it remain a night in my house, so i got it distributed*.

36. Verily, those who disbelieve, if they had all that is in the earth & as much again therewith to ransom themselves thereby from the torment on the Day of Resurrection, it would never be accepted of them & theirs would be a painful torment.
*QURAN 5 vs 36*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Hurrairah: (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated. Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) said, Allah says: *I am just as My slave thinks I am (I.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him)*.
And I am with him if he remembers Me, if he remembers Me in himself, I too remembers him in Myself. If he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they. If he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him. If he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.

39. And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad).

40. And that his deeds will be seen.

41. Then he will be recompensed with a full & the best recompense.

42. And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything).

43. And that it is He (Allah) Who makes whom He wills laugh & makes whom He wills weep.

44. And that it is Allah Who causes death & gives life.

45. And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male & female.

46. From Nutfah (drops of semen male & female discharges) when it is emitted.

47. And that upon Allah is a Resurrection.
*QURAN 53 vs 39-47*.

*HADITH*.
Ibn Abbas narrated. When Prophet Muhammed sent Mu`adh *(Peace be on them all)* to Yemen, he said to him, *You are going to the people of a Divine Book. First of all, invite them to worship Allah alone & when they come to know Allah, inform them that Allah has enjoined 5 prayers in every day & night, and if they start offering these daily prayers, inform them that Allah has enjoined on them, the Zakat. And it is to be taken from the rich amongst them & given to the poor amongst them, and if they obey you in that, take Zakat from them & avoid (don't take) the best property of the people as Zakat*.

75. Say (O Muhammad-Peace be on him), whoever is in error, the Most Gracious (Allah) will extend the rope to him, until when they see that which they were promised, either the torment or the Hour, they will come to know who is worst in position, and who is weaker in forces.
*QURAN 19 vs 75*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Burda Bin Abu Musa (May Allah/God be pleased with him) narrated. His father said, Whenever a beggar came to Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon him) or he was asked for something, he used to say to his companions. *Help & recommend him & you will receive the reward for it, and Allah will bring about what He will through His Prophet's tongue*.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
37. Man is created of haste. I will show you My Ayat *(torments, proofs, verses, signs, revelations, etc.)*. So ask Me not to hasten them.

38. And they say: *When will this promise come to pass if you are truthful*.

39. If only those who disbelieved knew the time when they will not be able to ward off the Fire from their faces, nor from their backs, and they will not be helped.

40. Nay, it (the Fire or the Day of Resurrection) will come upon them all of a sudden & will perplex them, and they will have no power to avert it nor will they get respite.
*QURAN 21 vs 37-40*.

*HADITH*.
Abu Sa'id Al - Khudri *(May Allah/God be pleased with him)* narrated: some women requested Allah's Apostle (Peace be on him) to fix a day for them as the men were taking all his time. On that he promised them one day for Religious lessons & commandments. Once during such a lesson, the Prophet said, *A woman whose 3 children die will be shielded by them from the Hell fire*. On that a woman asked, *If only 2 die*? He replied, *Even 2 will shield from the Hell fire)*.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, BOOK 3, KNOWLEDGE, HADITH NO 1.101*.

*BROTHERS & SISTERS* Many lessons can be derived from the above *QURAN verse & HADITH*, especially a woman who has lost her kids.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
18. Indeed he (Muhammed - Peace be on him) did see of the Greatest Signs, of his Lord (Allah).

19. Have you then considered Al-Lat & Al-Uzza (two idols of the pagan Arabs).

20. And Manat (another idol of the pagan Arabs), the other third?.

21. Is it for you the males & for Him the females?

22. That indeed is a division most unfair!

23. They are but names which you have named (you & your fathers) for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow but a guess & that which they themselves desire, whereas there has surely come to them the Guidance from their Lord!

24. Or shall man have what he wishes?

25. But to Allah belongs the last (Hereafter) and the first (the world).
*QURAN 53 vs 18-25*.

*HADITH*.
Anas narrated that, Abu Bakr *(May Allah be pleased with them all)* wrote to me what Allah had ordered His Apostle about Zakat which goes, *Neither an old nor a defected animal, nor a male-goat may be taken as Zakat except if the Zakat collector/receiver wishes to take it*.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
51. And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember or receive admonition?

52. And everything they have done is noted in their Records of deeds.

53. And everything, small & big is written down already before hand i.e. before it befalls or is done by its doer.

54. Verily, the pious will be in the midst of Gardens & Rivers (Paradise).

55. In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the One, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty & Honour).
*QURAN 54 vs 51-55*.

*HADITH*.
Anas narrated that Abu Bakr *(May Allah be pleased with them all)* wrote to me what was made compulsory by Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) and that was regarding the payment of Zakat. *Neither the property of different people may be taken together nor the joint property may be split for fear of paying more or receiving less Zakat*.

52. And We called him from the right side of the Mount & made him draw near to Us for a talk with him (Musa/Moses).

53. And We granted him his brother Harun/Aaron (peace be on him), also a Prophet, out of Our Mercy.
*QURAN 19 vs 51,52-53*.

*HADITH*.
Haritha Bin Wahab Al_Khuza (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated: i heard Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon him) saying, *O people, give in charity (for Allah's cause) because a time will come when a person will carry his object of charity from place to place & he will not find any person to take it, and any person whom he shall request to take it, will say*, if you had brought it yesterday, i would have taken it, but i am not in need of it today.

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
66. And man (the disbeliever) says. *When i am dead, shall i then be raised up alive*?

67. Does not man remember that We created him before while he was nothing?.

68. So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together & also the Shaytan/Satan/devils with them, then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees.

69. Then indeed We shall drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against the Most Gracious (Allah).

70. Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein.

71. There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell), this is with your Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.

72. Then We shall save those who used to fear Allah & were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists & wrongdoers), therein humbled to their knees (in Hell).
*QURAN 19 vs 66-72*.

*HADITH*.
Ibn Umar (May Allah/God be pleased with him) narrated: I heard Prophet Muhammed (Peace be Upon him) while he was on the pulpit speaking about charity, to abstain from asking others for somw financial help & about begging others, saying, *The upper hand is better than the lower hand*. The upper hand is that of the giver & the lower hand is that of the beggar.
