KEY 4- LIVING BY FAITH REQUIRES US TO NOT STAGGER AT THE PROMISE OF GOD THROUGH UNBELIEF.

The Bible says Abraham did not stagger or waver at God's promise through unbelief.
Meaning Abraham did not hesitate; to begin to doubt and waver in purpose; to become less confident or determined.

Unbelief will make you stagger at the promise of God.

On God's side every promise that He make is already done as far as he is concerned. (II Corinthians 1:20)

God told Jeremias that he is "Watching over his word to perform it" (Jeremiah 1:12)

WHAT IS UNBELIEF?
Unbelief is not non-belief. There's is no such thing as non-belief. Everybody believes in something. Man is a believer. That's the way God made him.
Unbelief is choosing to believe something else rather than God's revealed word.

The Lord said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them? .(Numbers 14:11)

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOUBT AND UNBELIEF.
Doubt is based on a lack o knowledge. Lack of sufficient information and having second thoughts is the Foundation of doubt. Doubt is evident when you are having second thoughts. God does not mind your doubt as long you are seeking answers from him in the midst of it.

Unbelief is choosing not to believe in the midst of evidence. Unbelief is the unwillingness to adhere, trust in and rely on God. It's also hardness of heart and refusing to believe.

Abraham did not entertain unbelief and that's why he entered into what God had for him.

When you stagger and waver, you are in trouble.( James 1:6-7; Matthew 14:28-31)

So how do you therefore deal with doubt and unbelief?

1. DO NOT TOLERATE IT.
Jesus rebuked his disciples for walking in unbelief. (Mark 16:14)

2.RECEIVE THE TEACHING.
Always remember that is not just information but formation. For faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Mark 6:5-6 ;Romans 10:17)

3.CHOOSE WISE ASSOCIATION.
Your Association will either inspire your faith in God or your dread of the devil. The people you call friends play a pivotal role in you confidence and faith in God's ability. ( I Corinthians 15:33; Proverbs 13:20)

THE PERSON THAT IS LIVING BY FAITH DOES NOT STAGGER AT THE PROMISE OF GOD THROUGH UNBELIEF.

For this Part 2 of Faith Driven Life or Life of Faith, I want us to look on some Keys that will help us to live a Faith Driven life and consecutively grow in Faith. I want us to look as an example the life of Abraham (The Father of Faith).
Abraham is prototype a set example to follow if we intend to live a Faith Driven life.(Isaiah 51:1-2)
When we look the life of Abraham, particularly on Romans 4:17-22, we are able to extract some Keys needed for the life of Faith.

KEY 1- FAITH IS ESTABLISHED ON WHAT GOD HAS SAID.(Romans 4:17-18)

Real Bible faith is always based upon what God said or what is written. If it wasn't spoken or written then there's no basis for faith.
Abraham's faith was based upon what God had promised. There's no basis for faith outside of what God has declared. God's declaration is our foundation for faith.
Abraham started with the word.
When God give you a word or promise we are expected to agree with Him.
Faith requires that we come to agreement with God's Word. He is not going to agree with you. You have to agree with Him.
(Hebrews 10:36; Isaiah 55:7-9)
KEY 2 - LIVING BY FAITH REQUIRES HOPE (Abraham hoped against hope)(Romans 4:18 )
The Bible declares that Abraham hoped against all hope.
There are two types of hope. Natural hope and Spiritual hope. Natural hope is subject to outside influence whereas spiritual hope is subject to the word of God.

Natural hope is based upon the improvement of circumstances. It has no power in itself to change the situation.

Spiritual hope is based upon what God has said or promised in his word. It does not depend upon the improvement of the circumstances, or whether the situation has changed for the better. Spiritual hope can create its own change.

No matter what you are going through today, your priority is to find out what God has said about the situation. (Isaiah 55:11)
Living by faith is hoping against hope through the hope that comes from the word of God.

KEY 3- LIVING BY FAITH REQUIRES US TO CONSIDER NOT OUR PROBLEMS (Abraham Considered not his own body now dead)(Romans 4:19)
The word "Consider" means to look upon; gaze upon; fix ones attention to; give thought to; observe with the natural eyes and to perceive thoroughly with the minds eyes.
Every time we choose to look upon or gaze upon our limitations we become weak in faith.
What are you looking at? What's is engaging your attention? Abraham chose to look at God's promise rather than his body.
Observing and focusing on God's promise place you in position to receive from God even in the midst of the most negative situation.(Proverbs 4:20-22, Jonah 2:8)

We have to make up your mind that you will choose, consider and esteem God's word above your problem.(Job 23:12 )

Living by faith is considering and esteeming God's word above your problems.

The life of faith is not an option. To live by faith is the only option prescribed to a just man.
Four (4) times in the scripture we are told that "The Just shall live by Faith".(Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17;Galatians 3:11)And we know that "Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, shall the matter be established" (Deuteronomy 19:15) That's God prescribed way of living for us. Living by faith is a established matter. There's no other way. The way of faith is the only way of life. There's no other options for living, faith is the option.

In the book of I John 5:4: - The word of God declares faith as the way to victory. Faith is our method of victory over everything that Satan through against us. The believer who is living outside of faith is living outside of victory.

Living by faith in its simplest definition is having confidence in the integrity of God's word to act upon it.
Faith is God's plan of dominion over all the works of the enemy.

Faith is a response on reality that is being offered to us by the other end. This reality can be God himself or something that God is offering.
The believing when there's no offer will lead you to frustration. God does not exist to fulfill the fantasy of your heart.
He does all things according to the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11)

If faith is a response is because there's an offer on the other end: - There offer are in two categories
The generic offer (Promise) And the Specific offer(Rhema, Visions, dreams and instruction).
