Morning All. We have become aware of a WhatsApp message being circulated asking for cash donations towards the cost of refreshments for Kathleen Adams funeral tea. We condemn this request in the strongest possible terms and absolutely deny sanctioning such a request. Please do not give any cash. We did ask Sodalities to "bring and share" for the funeral tea as we expect a very large attendance. We are saddened by this disrespectful behaviour.

The Celebration of the Solemnity of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Patronal feast of the Archdiocese, all parishioners are encouraged to join the Archdiocesan celebration of 16 August 2026, at Our Lady Help of Christians, Lansdowne. The Rosary will begin at 14h30, followed by the liturgical celebration at 15h00. Let us come together in prayer and thanksgiving as we honour our Blessed Mother and celebrate this special feast as one Archdiocesan family.

The Requiem Mass for Kathleen Adams will take place at St Kevin's on Saturday 22nd August, viewing at 09:00. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at St Kevin's on Thursday 20th August at 19:00.
