Church should be a healthy place.

A place where people feel welcomed, valued and loved.
A friendly place where everyone is welcome, regardless of where they come from or what they’ve been through.

But church should also be a place of transformation.

We come as we are, but through God’s Word, His presence and His grace, we don’t have to remain as we are.

A healthy church welcomes you, loves you, disciples you and helps you become who God has called you to be.

WHAT DOES WELLNESS HAVE TO DO WITH CHURCH?

And why should the church be talking about it?

Because God cares about the whole person.

The Bible speaks about our spirit, mind, body, emotions and relationships.

📖 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2

Wellness is not only about exercise, nutrition or physical health. It is also about the things many women carry silently:

Stress. Grief. Anxiety. Broken relationships. Family pressures. Trauma. Identity. Emotional exhaustion. Parenting. Marriage. Boundaries. Self-worth.

These are real issues affecting women and families in our communities.

So, should the church speak about these things? Absolutely.

Jesus said:
📖 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

The church should be a place where we can bring real-life struggles into the light of God’s Word, have honest conversations, find support and learn practical ways to pursue wholeness.

Biblical wellness is not about perfection. It is about becoming whole.

“Refined Through Surrender”

Sometimes God cannot take us into the future until we are willing to let go of the past.

Letting go is not weakness.
It takes strength to release what once was, surrender what we cannot change, and trust God with what lies ahead.

Sometimes refinement looks like surrender.
Sometimes faith looks like releasing.
Sometimes the greatest step forward begins with simply saying:

“Lord, I let it go.”

Let go of the hurt.
Let go of the disappointment.
Let go of yesterday.
Let go of what God is no longer asking you to carry.

Your past may have shaped you, but it does not have to define your future.

Let it go. Trust God. Move forward.
There is something ahead that God is directing you toward.
