Resurgence Church Resurgence Church was established in October 2025.

Lead Pastors Preston and Tanya Jongbloed are products of Westreach AOG, where they were formed, discipled, and released into ministry. We are proudly associated with The Assemblies of God Association, and Pastor Preston is a fully credentialed minister within the movement. In this phase of the work, Resurgence Church operates as a preaching point under the spiritual covering and leadership of Apostle Theo Roman and the Westreach AOG Leadership Team.

Have you become so overwhelmed by life that you’ve started living in survival mode — convinced that nothing will change? That mindset can blind you to what God is still doing around you.

In Luke 18:35, Blind Bartimaeus sat by the roadside begging, but everything shifted when he heard that Jesus was passing by. Before he ever saw a miracle, he learned to listen. Because hearing often comes before seeing.

Faith starts when you tune your ear to what God is doing — even when your situation hasn’t changed yet.

It’s when he got into the presence of Jesus that everything changed.

Jesus asked him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he replied, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”

The real question this morning is this: How many of us are in need of new sight? Not just physical sight — but spiritual sight. A fresh perspective over your life, your marriage, your finances, and your future.

Because when Jesus restores your sight, He doesn’t just change what you see… He changes how you see.

Anything we withhold from the Lord can become bo***ge.

God may free you instantly from some things, but other areas take time because the anointing has to pe*****te the deep places of our hearts. Sometimes it’s not the visible struggles — it’s the hidden insecurities, jealousy, pride, fear, or pain that God wants to heal completely.

The beautiful thing about God is that He does not expose us to shame us — He reveals things to heal us. Freedom is found when we fully surrender every area of our lives to Him.

“The anointing destroys the yoke.” — Isaiah 10:27

Don’t stop short of complete freedom. Let God into every room of your heart.

Some cycles continue because we refuse to leave the wrong room.

There comes a moment when God confronts you with a hard question: “Are you in the right room?” Sometimes the struggle is not your calling, your future, or your potential — it’s the environment around you. Wrong rooms, wrong voices, and wrong friendships can keep you trapped in cycles God was trying to deliver you from.

Not everybody can go where God is taking you. Some people are connected to your history but not your destiny. Growth often requires separation before elevation.

“Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’” — 1 Corinthians 15:33

Ask God for the courage to walk away from what keeps pulling you backwards so you can step fully into what He has prepared for you.

Isaiah 10:27 reminds us of the power of God’s anointing:

“In that day the Lord will remove the heavy burden from your shoulders and break off the yoke of bo***ge from your neck because of the heavy anointing upon you.” — Isaiah 10:27 (TPT)

The anointing of God does not just comfort us — it destroys burdens, breaks yokes, and brings freedom. Whatever has been weighing on you, God’s power is greater. There is deliverance, healing, and breakthrough in His presence.

The anointing can only heal what we are willing to surrender to God.
Too often pride, fear, and closed hearts stop people from receiving the touch they desperately need.

Tonight, choose to believe again.
Choose surrender over pride.
Choose repentance over resistance.
Choose to open your heart and simply receive what God wants to do in your life.

His presence still heals. His anointing still restores. 🔥🙏
