Resurgence Church Resurgence Church was established in October 2025.

Lead Pastors Preston and Tanya Jongbloed are products of Westreach AOG, where they were formed, discipled, and released into ministry. We are proudly associated with The Assemblies of God Association, and Pastor Preston is a fully credentialed minister within the movement. In this phase of the work, Resurgence Church operates as a preaching point under the spiritual covering and leadership of Apostle Theo Roman and the Westreach AOG Leadership Team.

REASON 1/180 — JESUS ✝️

It begins with Jesus.

Before the vision, before the programmes, before the gatherings, before the preaching, and before the name Resurgence — there is Jesus.

He is not simply part of what we do. He is the reason we exist.

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” — John 14:6

We exist to lead people to the Way, ground families in the Truth, and introduce a generation to the Life found only in Jesus.

Everything starts with Him.
Everything points to Him.
Everything is for Him.

Jesus is our first reason. And He will always be our greatest reason.

Just a little glimpse of our family yesterday. ❤️

Sundays at Resurgence are about so much more than gathering for a service — they’re about doing life together, growing together and raising the next generation together.

Yesterday, we had the beautiful privilege of anointing and praying over our children. 🙏🏽 What a reminder that every child in this house is loved, covered and part of this family.

We’re grateful for what God is building among us — one family, one generation at a time.

ARE YOU BURDENED?

Are you carrying something that feels too heavy to explain?

Perhaps you have been smiling in public while silently struggling in private. You have prayed, trusted God and tried to remain strong—but today, you feel tired.

Jesus never promised that we would live without trouble, but He promised that we would never have to face it alone.

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Whatever is weighing on your heart—your family, finances, health, marriage, ministry or future—you can bring it to Jesus. You do not have to pretend that you are okay. You do not have to carry everything by yourself.

God sees you.
God hears you.
God cares about you.
And God is still holding you.

Take a moment today to breathe, pray and place your burden into His hands. The situation may not change immediately, but His presence will give you the strength to keep going.

You are not alone. Help is available. Hope is alive. Jesus is near.

What a beautiful Sunday at Resurgence Church! ❤️

Today we celebrated Women’s Day while standing together in the fight against human trafficking—a cause that deserves our voices, our prayers, and our action.

A huge thank you to our special guests, Chris Franciscus and Salome Geiger from Beyond Priceless, for sharing your hearts and opening our eyes to the incredible work you’re doing to protect the vulnerable and bring hope where it’s needed most. We are honoured to partner with people making such a real difference.

The Bible reminds us of the importance of fellowship, and today was a wonderful reminder of that. From worship and the Word to sharing lunch together afterwards, it was simply time well spent with family.

To every lady who joined us, we celebrate you. Thank you for your strength, your faith, and the difference you make every day.

And to every volunteer who served, prepared the lunch, welcomed people, and worked behind the scenes—thank you. You helped create an atmosphere where people could connect, belong, and feel at home.
