Anchor of Hope Ministries is a registered NPO, no 67556, which concentrate on the social and spiritual upliftment of the very poor - irrespective of age, gender, ability, political background or race. Anchor of Hope is the main organization which is divided into four sub-divisions. Each of these sub-divisions has its own manager, staff and expertise, but has the same board of directors and constit

ution. The names of the sub-divisions are:
1) Special Projects,
2) Pregnancy Crisis Centre ,
3) Carpentry and upholstery,
4) Sewing,
5) Infrastructure maintenance,
6) Training - POPUP, Each of these divisions concentrate on it’s own field of expertise within the community of Bloemfontein and surrounding areas. The focus area of the different divisions are as follows:

1) Projects :
Food and clothing to the poor and other organizations, feeding schemes, community and social programs with the SAPS and correctional services.

2) Pregnancy Crisis Centre:
Pre and post abortion counseling, information sessions at tertiary institutions, training for counselors and temporary accommodation for pregnant mothers and new born babies.

People in Bloemfontein are caring and loving towards those in need. Yesterday somebody dropped a trailer full of spinach at our mens shelter. It was to much for our houses and we could bless the community of Hilton with spinach. Thank you God for people who cares for others and for this donation in abundance that we could bless others

Thank you SEESA in Parfit Avenue for this huge treat for our guys in the shelter and saying thank you for cleaning Parfit and other parts of Westdene. For some KFC is normal but for these guys it is like Chistmas in August. Thank you God for this blessing

Good morning to all. Anchor of Hope wants to start a garden service for residential gardens. We want to start with basic gardens where we can cut the grass, sweep and do basic beds.
