Anchor of Hope Ministries

Anchor of Hope Ministries Short description

Anchor of Hope is a registered NPO whose aim is the spiritual and social upliftment of all in need. Our foundation is Jesus Christ.
(12)

We do not classify people by age, gender or race as poverty does not classify people. Anchor of Hope has four sub-divisions, each with its own leadership and area of expertise: 1) Pregnancy Crisis Centre of Hope – Pre and post abortion counseling, (2) Evangelistic Outreach of Hope – Tent services and outreaches, (3) Talita Koem – Disabled ministry, (4) Special Agents for the Lamb – School Program about abstaining.

Our foundation is Jesus Christ and from there we help people in different ways. We currently feed and clothe about 3700 people per month of which 90% is black, 5% is colored and 5% is white and Asian. These people live in squatter’s camps, townships, city and rural areas. The area of help is also not confined to the Mangaung area but we cover the whole of the Freestate and parts of the Northern Cape.
