This will be Apostle Lekay’s last visit to Saxonsea congregation before the Apostle area changes take effect on 1 October.

FIRST SUNDAY | FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF THE GOSPEL
THE SAVING EFFECT OF THE SACRAMENTS

On Sunday 06 September 2026, Rector Priest C. Rodrigues conducted the special Friendship divine service. He called upon Priest E. Cupido to serve alongside at the altar following a rendition of "I come to the garden" by the children's choir.

BIBLE TEXT: 1 John 5:8
And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. 1 John 5:8
MESSAGE
We receive salvation in Christ visibly by receiving the sacraments.
SUMMARY
■ The divine Sonship of Jesus Christ is acknowledged by God the Father.
■ The Spirit, the water, and the blood point to the saving effect of the Sacraments administered in the church of Christ.
■ The sacraments are necessary for obtaining salvation in its fulness.

After conclusion of the divine service, the choir, orchestra, recorder players, children's choir and male choir presented an aptly themed Music Hour for the congregation.

Children’s Choir Practice today at 13:00. They will be practicing to prepare for the following services/activities:

- Friendship (6 September)
- Jamboree (13 September)
- Apostle’s visit (22 September)
- Thanksgiving (4 October)

This coming Sunday, 6 September 2026, we will celebrate our annual Friendship divine service where you are encouraged to invite friends, family, neighbours and colleagues.

Following the divine service we have a special music hour and fellowship planned for our friends.
