Heart of the Father

Heart of the Father Preacher, teacher & podcaster helping believers rediscover God’s heart beyond religion. Making the supernatural God naturally trustable.

Our mission is to train up the body of Christ for the work of the ministry. Not just leaders of church organizations, but the normal believer to be able to walk in the supernatural life that they are called for. Feel free to read through our blogs, listen to the podcasts or prayer broadcast on our website : www.heartofthefather.co.za

We work with small groups weekly and then also we go to the str

eet to practice what we preach. We do not request offerings or tithes from people, but we rather trust God to send people who love to give.

Once saved always saved vs can lose salvation ⁉️

As Christians, our focus should not be debating whether salvation can be lost or eternally secured, because those discussions often become centered on our own perspective of our ability to sin instead of the transforming power of the Gospel 💪🔥.

In Revelation, He constantly says, “I know your works,” which means what we do should never be separated from who we say we are. God’s plan for us is transformation.

“When the Son sets you free, you are free indeed” - in-deed.

This idea sounds spiritual, but it quietly suggests that God proves our love by taking things away - and that’s not the gospel.

God doesn’t test love by destruction. He reveals love through restoration.

Job never said God took everything - he said, "The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away" - but later God rebuked Job’s understanding and restored him (Job 42:7–10). The narrative shows human perception, not God's character.

Jesus also corrected this theology. When people assumed suffering meant God was testing or judging, He rejected it (Luke 13:1-5, John 9:1-3).

And most importantly - at the cross, God didn’t take everything from us to test our love…
He gave everything to prove His.

True love for God isn’t measured by how well we praise Him in loss,
but by knowing His heart - that He is a Father who gives good gifts, not one who removes them to test devotion (Matthew 7:11).

God isn’t glorified by taking everything from you.
He’s glorified by bringing life where there was death, hope where there was loss, and restoration where there was brokenness.

Passover reminds us of a powerful truth - freedom comes through the Lamb.

In Egypt, the blood of the lamb meant protection, deliverance, and a new beginning.
Today, we celebrate that Jesus is our Passover Lamb.

He wasn’t just part of the story - He is the fulfillment of it.

"Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed." - 1 Corinthians 5:7

Because of Him:
• We are delivered from bo***ge
• We are brought into new life
• We are marked by grace, not judgment

Passover is no longer just a memory - it's a reality fulfilled in Jesus.

The Lamb has been given.
The blood has been applied.
Freedom has come.

Happy Passover - and thank You, Jesus, our Passover Lamb.
