Dear Parishioners,

As the new school year begins, thousands of children in Ukraine continue to face the hardships of war. Together, we have an opportunity to help provide them with the school supplies they need to learn, grow, and look toward the future with hope.

This Sunday Aug 30, at our parish we will have a second collection dedicated to the Back-to-School Backpack Fundraiser supporting children in need in Ukraine.

Your donations will help provide: School backpacks, Notebooks and textbooks, Pens, pencils, and classroom supplies, Educational materials for children in need.

Checks may be made payable to Sts. Peter & Paul UOC, with “Backpacks” written in the memo line. If you are unable to be in church this Sunday, you are also welcome to mail your donation to the parish, and we will make sure it is included in the fundraiser.
Donations can be mailed to Sts Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church at 1025 N Belle Vista Ave, Youngstown OH 44509.

Every donation, regardless of the amount, is a blessing that can bring hope and joy to a child.
