Calling all moms of school aged kids! MOMSnext at Faith has openings for the 2019-2020 season! You're never too far along in your motherhood journey to make new mom friends and find a sense of community!

At MOMSnext at Faith, we're a group of women united by the shared experience of motherhood. We are a come-as-you-are group that is welcome to all moms. Our meetings begin with food, coffee and fellowship, followed by time for group and/or creative activities, and practical faith-based teaching through speakers, demonstrations and videos. Most importantly, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood.

Next year's theme is "To the Full":

In order to live this year, we will:
🎉Have More Fun: This is our year to remember what it feels like to enjoy ourselves.

🌷Fear Less: This is the year of faith over fear, and abundance over scarcity.

👯‍♀️Find Our People: This year we’ll meet our neighbors, learn the name of the cashier at the grocery store, and invite our MOPS table over for dinner. We need our people, and they need us.

Calling all moms of preschoolers and school aged kids! MOPS & MOMSnext at Faith has openings for the 2018-2019 season! While our infant room is at capacity, we do have child care openings in our toddler room (ages 2 & up), and we always have openings for moms of school aged children who are not in need of child care. You're never too far along in your motherhood journey to make new mom friends and find a sense of community!

This year's theme is "Find Your Fire", an invitation to live expectantly, surrender daringly, and breathe freely. We will stop inhaling the fumes of our mistakes that tell us we are not enough, not a good enough mom, not pretty enough, not brave enough, not smart enough, not wealthy enough. Instead, we will choose to tend our God-given fire.

Are you looking for an opportunity to spread God’s love to children while supporting mothers in the community? MOPS of Forest Lake is seeking caregivers for our nursery and preschool groups. Volunteers in our MOPS Kids program hold babies, play with and guide toddlers and preschoolers, and show love to our little ones!

MOPS is an international organization for mothers that provides education, spiritual reflection, mentoring, activities, and support; membership is open to all mothers in the community. We meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month, September through May, from 9-11:30, at Faith Lutheran Church. Volunteers are needed for 1-2 Thursday mornings per month, or as you’re able.
