Chapter 265, Section 43A: (a) Whoever willfully and maliciously engages in a knowing pattern of conduct or series of acts over a period of time directed at a specific person, which seriously alarms that person and would cause a reasonable person to suffer substantial emotional distress, shall be guilty of the crime of criminal harassment and shall be punished by imprisonment in a house of correction for not more than 21/2 years or by a fine of not more than $1,000, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The conduct or acts described in this paragraph shall include, but not be limited to, conduct or acts conducted by mail or by use of a telephonic or telecommunication device or electronic communication device including, but not limited to, any device that transfers signs, signals, writing, images, sounds, data or intelligence of any nature transmitted in whole or in part by a wire, radio, electromagnetic, photo-electronic or photo-optical system, including, but not limited to, electronic mail, internet communications, instant messages or facsimile communications.

HPC's service was recorded today by Elissa Escarce, Producer, and Nellie Gilles, Senior Producer & Director of Operations at Radio Diaries, which produces acclaimed and innovative documentaries broadcast on NPR. They were at HPC working on a podcast focused on the LGBT Asylum Task Force.

🎤 We'll have speakers, including Senator Robyn Kennedy, sharing information about voting rights, early voting, and protecting our elections.

🗳️ Get nonpartisan information about ballot questions, find voting resources, and make your voting plan.

🎈 Bring the kids! We're planning activities for our Future Voters of America, too!

📬 Already have your mail-in ballot? Bring it along! We'll share information about how to return it and where official ballot drop boxes are located.

This isn't your typical rally. We're filling Institute Park with music, community, and opportunities to participate in democracy!

We celebrated the 10th anniversary of the LGBT Asylum Task Force Gala last night at the beautiful Mechanic's Hall, and what a night! Compelling stories, inspired music by the choir and band, great food, a fun auction, all followed by a dance party! THANKS to everyone for the generous donations that help support asylum seekers! And gratitude for Al Green, Pastor Judy, Pastor Julie, Chris George, the Gala Committee, and all the volunteers who put this incredible program together. Well done! Fran Graveson photo
