Bishop Hee-Soo Jung of the Ohio Episcopal Area will be visiting New Pittsburg on Thursday, March 12, at 1:30 p.m. This is the first visit of a bishop to our church that we know of, so we hope you can stop in and meet him. The visit will last around 45 minutes, and he will be having conversations and prayer with the congregations of both New Pittsburg and Oak Chapel. We hope you can join us for this event!

Given the current weather forecast, which is calling for significant snowfall and freezing temperatures, we have made the difficult decision to cancel New Pittsburg's worship service for Sunday (Jan. 25). We apologize for those who were planning to attend, but we want to be sure to keep everyone safe. In lieu of an in-person service, we have posted a video of an abbreviated service on Oak Chapel's webpage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JI0C2m_oJUs&list=PL0ofAqOo78XLUnSa6TXRRFMeNOS5C1NQ9 so that everyone may still engage in spiritual devotion. God bless all of you, and we hope to resume in-person services next Sunday (Feb. 1) when we will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

Tonight at 5:00PM as we gather together to celebrate the birth of the King of Kings. Join us as we light candles that represent the light that Jesus introduced into the world that night over 2000 years ago.

Our traditional candlelight Christmas Eve service will once again be at 5 PM this year. We hope you and your family can join us in worship as we celebrate the coming of our Redeemer and King.

Due to the snow and frigid cold temperatures tomorrow morning, we have decided to cancel our worship service for Sunday morning. Lord willing we will resume our normal worship next Sunday the 21st for the 4th Sunday of Advent.

This Sunday we join with Christians across the globe as we partake together in the Sacrament of Holy Communion. On that day we will honor our Lord's sacrifice on the cross on Calvary by remembering him as he commanded us to do by partaking in the bread and wine. Come celebrate the holy mystery with us this Sunday at 9:00AM.

Join us for our worship service on September 28 at 9. Pastor John's sermon this week is entitled "Fear Not" with scripture readings focused on that theme. Through our prayers, hymns, and fellowship, we’ll celebrate God’s unwavering presence and grace. Come, be renewed, and let’s overcome fear together in this sacred time of reflection and worship.

As you may know Ohio has been under a bit of a drought which has inspired Pastor John's message for this week: "Ending the Drought". We'd love to see you this Sunday at 9AM. The drought could come to an end Sunday evening, so we will praise God for his Prudence in sending us some much needed rain!
