What are you doing this morning? Make sure you spend some time with God, either in a church building or your favorite place to talk to him . . . a garden, a patio, deck, front porch, woods, even in the barn doing chores. He is with you everywhere you go. Red Haw Church at 11:00 am is where we'll be today. Hope to see you there.

We had a good time celebrating all of the birthdays of 2026 after worship with a taco bar, fresh fruit, cupcakes, and ice cream. Thanks to those who were able to stay/come today, help, and contribute. 🎉🥳 I especially enjoyed reminiscing. 😉

Food Pantry~Associated Charities

Dear friends . . .

It is nearing September already! Time certainly flies. Our current pantry needs are the following:

Ramen Noodles, egg noodles, saltines, peanut butter and jelly, pasta noodles and sauce, canned chicken and tuna, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, laundry and dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels.

Although you will see us continue to post, after Sunday our "extra activities" are taking a break until October. Since Palm Sunday (March 29th) through this Sunday, August 30th we have had:

Weekly Worship (These are with Rev. Dr. Jan Sprague and a few guest speakers, thanks Beryl Baum.)

Palm Sunday Service (We always look forward to our waving of the palms, thanks Barbara Oehling.)

Easter Sunday (We had a potluck breakfast prior to the service thanks to the congregation.)

Mother's Day (Thanks Barbara Oehling for the beautiful Faith necklaces and poem.)

Memorial Day (Thanks for always speaking during these times Patrick Strine, for our history lessons, and for our poppies. We also enjoyed the special recorded sermon from our precious, gone but not forgotten, UMC Pastor Ron Hardman. )

June Chunky Blanket Workshop (Thanks Jane Taft Houin and Aubree Houin.)

Father's Day (Thanks for the bookmark, pen, and special words Ross Oehling .)

July 4th/250th Parade organized by a community member, Stan Bosler. Thanks for asking us to participate.

9th Annual Car Show which has been our biggest one yet with over 200 cars. (Thanks to our committee and all who supported this fundraiser to fund our missions and outreach.)

2nd Quarterly Celebration (Thanks for the Coccia House pizza lunch Ross and Barb Oehling.)

Women's Brunch with 1018 Travels and Stephanie Kozak's testimony. Thanks 1018 Travels Stephanie.

3rd Quarterly Celebration this Sunday as we celebrate 12 months of birthdays. Please join us for worship and then a taco bar and cake & ice cream afterwards.

Enjoy September with the local fairs, back to school, and Labor Day weekend. We'll see you for the weekly services and then October 24th for the fall party. More details to come.

Next Sunday after worship, join us for our Birthday Celebration. We will celebrate everyone's birthday for the year with a taco bar, birthday 🧁 and ice cream, and decor. Just let us know who to expect so that we have plenty for everyone. Worship begins at 11:00 am and lunch right after that.🥳🎉🎈
