🌟 We’re Proud of Our Wooster UMC Youth Mission Team! 🌟

Our youth mission team has returned from a week in Buchanan County, Virginia, where they served in partnership with Appalachia Service Project (ASP). This was Wooster UMC’s third mission trip with ASP, and it was another unforgettable experience.

ASP’s mission is simple: making homes warmer, safer, and drier. ASP is a "relationship ministry with construction on the side.” Throughout the week, relationships were built between youth and adult volunteers, college-aged staff members, the families they served - and occasional visiting wildlife (see last photo)!

Our team of 10 youth and 5 adults spent months preparing for this trip—raising funds, learning construction skills, and getting ready to serve. Their hard work, dedication, and willingness to step outside their comfort zones made a real difference in the lives of others.

We are grateful for their servant hearts, the support of our church family, and the opportunity to share God’s love through service. Thank you to everyone who helped make this mission possible!
