Supper is served at 5:30 p.m. VBS activities from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Please register your student(s) on the sign-up sheet on the back table or call the church office.

Theme: “Growing in Jesus”

Focus: God causes faith to grow through His Holy Word and His Holy Spirit.

Theme Verse: “Rain and snow come down from the sky. They do not go back again until they water the earth. They make it sprout and grow so that it produces seed for farmers and food for people to eat. My word, which comes from my mouth, is like the rain and snow. It will not come back to me without results. It will accomplish whatever I want and achieve whatever I send it to do.” (Isaiah 55:10–11)

Day 2: “The Parable of the Mustard Seed” based on Matthew 13

Rev. Vernon Dorn served St. Luke's congregation from 1974-1978. He was known to portray Bible characters in Lenten services. Please pray for his wife Wanda and his family. Blessed be his memory! 🙏

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 21 from 4pm – 7pm, and on Friday May 22 from 10am – 11am followed by an 11am celebration of life at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Inver Grove Heights followed by burial and lunch.
