Jesus warns us that we will be hated because of him. We are told that we should be bold despite how the world may receive us. We are bold in our confession of the truth and of our confession of Jesus.

This Wednesday, June 10th, at 6:30 is our first midweek service of the summer. We are having one each month on the second Wednesday of the month. It is a shortened communion service with readings and a sermon. This Wednesday will be a different text and sermon than what we have on Sundays.

God called Paul to service even though he was a violent sinner who persecuted the church. Through this action God showed his forgiveness for sinners and his ability to use us in his service.

We give thanks to our God for the gift of eternal life given through his Son, Jesus. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, Marilyn was given this gift of faith that leads to eternal life.

Everyone is invited to join us for the Confirmation Class/Bible Class tomorrow, April 8th, at 7:00 PM. There will be pancakes and sausages served for those who would like a breakfast meal. The pancakes will be cooked fresh.
