Last night our first ever VIBE night was a complete success!

We learned how the culture around us tries to shape our lives. But Kingdom Culture and the culture of this world are continually opposed!

“The world and the word are always at odds”

1. Current culture is devoted to self
Kingdom culture is devoted to God (Matt 6:33)

2. Current Culture serves self
Kingdom culture serves others (Gal 6:2)

3. Current culture values happiness
Kingdom culture values holiness (Heb 13:14)

4. Current culture plans for future
Kingdom culture plans for eternity (Mark 8:36)

Tonight is the night!!!! Our first V I B E Night 🌟

It’s our first an “interactive” Youth service, geared toward INVITING friends! It’s gonna be a lil fun, a lil whacky maybe… the topic is “Crushing the Culture”…. And what tries to shape the culture of this world our kids live in more than Hollywood?!

So tonight, will have a “Hollywood Vibe” and our students will get to take part in the word being preached by dressing up as a movie star or character. 👀 (oh the costumes I’ve heard already) lol

If you’re a GenNow student or student leader, please bring a snack or dessert to share! And don’t forget to BRING A FRIEND!!!
