Dear Friends,
Two years ago on July 1, Burkhead UMC and Wesley Memorial UMC merged and became Sherwood Forest UMC. At that time Burkhead did not remove their website and page, and we know that some of you have continued to use it to view our Sunday and special services. At that time we also opened a Sherwood Forest website and encouraged you to move to it.
Today we are announcing that the Burkhead website will be removed on June 8 following the Sunday, June 7 service.
This will give you a chance to check out the Sherwood Forest page and begin to follow it. We didn’t want to drop the Burkhead page without announcing it and leave you without any church contact.
Thank you for your support of Sherwood Forest UMC. The church is continuing to grow and is very active in the neighborhood. The SF page will keep you updated on all of our activities. Do join us TODAY!
