LECTOR TRAINING FOR CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE LECTORS

Are you a current lector who would appreciate a refresher training with tips and strategies? Have you considered being a lector at Mass but lack the training or confidence to sign up? If you answered yes to either question, we invite you to attend a Lector Training Session, facilitated by Mike Hagarty at St. Mary’s Parish on Thursday, September 17 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm in the church.

Attendees will review the theological principles and practicals of the ministry of proclamation, specific, easy to implement tips and strategies to assist you in proclaiming the Good News with more confidence, as well as a review of the particular steps for Lectoring at St. Mary’s (including how to sign up, prepare, and proclaim the Readings). Please join us for training to become an altar server or for a refresher training at St. Mary’s Parish. All youth grades 3 – 12 are welcome in this ministry. Come and learn. Come and share your gifts. Mark your calendars for ONE training date, notify Tiffany of the names and which training date you will attend.

Donut Sunday at St. Mary's

DONUT SUNDAY HELPERS NEEDED
We are looking for more people (or families) to join our rotation to help serve coffee and donuts after Mass, especially after 10:30 Mass. Donut Sundays are twice a month. The set-up is done for you and the tasks are pretty simple: make coffee, put donuts on trays, clean off tables, run the dishwasher and best of all greet fellow parishioners with a smile!
