Tomorrow (Sept. 6th) is kick-off Sunday.

Top 5 reasons to tune in or attend ~

• Sunday School begins! 🏫 Children ages preschool through 4th grade are invited to take part in Sunday School following the Children's Message. Invite neighbors, friends, co-workers, or anyone you know who has children or children in their care who might enjoy Sunday School.

• Backpacks will be blessed. 🎒 Students of ALL ages (tots through college and beyond) will receive a special blessing for the school year ahead. Please reach out to the Wesley office with mailing addresses of students who are away at school and would like a blessing in the mail.

• Wesley choir debuts. 🎵 The start of the school year means the Wesley choir is back in session! The Wesley choir welcomes anyone who enjoys singing. Reach out to the Wesley office or chase down a choir member after the service for more information.

• Volunteers will be grilling! 🌭 Following the service, all are welcome to enjoy hot dogs, grilled chicken, baked potatoes, baked beans, and root b**r floats. This a free-of-charge community meal, so spread the word!

• God will be glorified. ☝🏼 Yes, we all love brand new backpacks, choir music, and root b**r floats, but these are just tools to bring God's people together to glorify his name and share the good news with all. Online or in person, we hope you will join us to glorify God while we kick off the new season.

Wesley United Methodist Church invites children entering preschool through fourth grade to participate in its weekly Sunday School program, beginning Sunday, September 6, during the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
Children will begin the worship service with their parents, guardians, or accompanying adults. Following Children’s Time, Sunday School teachers will lead children to the upstairs classroom. Teachers will es**rt children back to the sanctuary at the conclusion of worship.

Wesley was blessed by the music of Winona State music students Adelyn Ackermann, Alexander Peterson, Casiana Sas, Martin Schmidt under the direction of Dr. Eric Brisson during yesterday's worship service.
