Throughout the rest of the week, there are numerous opportunities to connect with others in deeper relationship and to grow in grace through small groups, Bible Studies, service on a committee, and service to the community. As election season approaches, political divisions can push us apart—even from people we once considered close friends.

This Sunday, Pastor Seungli preached "Politics and Jesus," reflecting on how Jesus called Matthew the tax collector and Simon the Zealot to follow him together, despite their very different backgrounds.

What if following Jesus means caring not only about WHAT we believe politically, but also HOW we treat those who disagree with us?

"We may disagree about politics, but we do not have to disappear from each other's lives."
