Biblical Counseling is necessary because people function with a distorted view of love. The world says, "The only thing more powerful than hate is love." The all-powerful Jesus says, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15) A Christlike love lives to please Jesus. The love of the world lives to please self - the very definition of hating God.
