CCM Leadership Weekend recap!

Our CCM Board kicked things off with dinner, reflection, training, and planning for the year ahead, followed by a full day together starting with Mass at Sacred Heart and heading to Harpers Ferry for kayaking, canoeing, and the ropes course!

We’re so grateful for this team, the memories we made, and everything ahead for CCM this year. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for our community!

And yes… we all survived the ropes course.

THIS THURSDAY (9/3): First-Year Getaway with Chick-fil-A!

Get away after the first week of classes and join us at Jim Barnett Park from 6–8 PM!

Come enjoy outdoor games, fun activities, Chick-fil-A, and time to meet and get to know your fellow first-years! All faiths and backgrounds are welcome, and the event is completely FREE!

Meet at 5:40 PM on the front patio of the Brandt Student Center. We’ll fill out liability forms and then walk about 7 minutes together to Jim Barnett Park.

If you miss us, meet us at Jim Barnett Park’s Optimist Pavilion (1235 Maple Dr., Wi******er, VA 22601), across the street from the playground and main pavilion (Christianson FamilyLand).

NEW SCHOOL YEAR’S EVE!

Join Shenandoah University Catholic Campus Ministry as we kick off the new school year together!

Sunday, August 30 | 5–7 PM
Goodson Chapel

We’ll start with our first Catholic Sunday Mass of the year at 5 PM, then head to the Goodson Chapel lobby to celebrate!

Come for Mission BBQ, dessert, fizzy drinks, FREE CCM t-shirts, raffle prizes, and the chance to meet new students and CCM members!

Whether you’re brand new to Shenandoah, returning for another year, or just curious about CCM — everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to see you!

Congrats to our CCM Class of 2026 graduates! 🎓🤍

Nitin Anish, Lauren Cruz, Colette Girouard, Kali Highlander, Jack Lim, Mason McCauley, Kat Morgan, Susanna O’Herron, Caitlin Orender, Ava Pannullo, Mary-Kelly Reimel, Jose Rivas, Anna Wheatley, Lucy Wojciechowski, and more we may have missed at Commencement!

Bishop Michael Burbidge visited campus for the first ever bishop less Mass at SU, and over 100 people showed up! CCM brought the energy with our powerful choir and the night concluded with our End of the Year Banquet celebrating students and leaders!

We are honored to have Bishop Burbidge commission our incoming CCM leaders and bless everyone in attendance!
